The open floor plan of the main level makes it possible to enjoy the stone fireplace with a TV mounted above it from the kitchen, dining and living room areas. To top off the perfect floor plan, the hot tub is on a covered deck just outside of this open area. Upstairs is the pool table room complete with wet bar, basketball game and arcade game! Everyone was very friendly and helpful, especially that poor sweet girl who kept getting my calls the day we checked in. I called like 3 times and she was very nice every time, and very helpful. When we called about issues with a tv, the repair man was there quickly, but unfortunately unable to help. Our stay was very peaceful and stress-free, just the way we wanted it. There was a lot to do in the area and the mountains were beautiful :)

Other than the Bear visit had a great time. Need to see if you can get more water pressure to the top floor, shower heads do not work very well due to the low water pressure.

The cabin was clean and there was no bugs. Maintenance was there within a half hour to fix the alarm that was hanging. The only thing I would recommend would be to include a picture of the driveway and parking area. Also a dresser in the main level bedroom would be nice.

Cabin was nice and clean. TV's and media were all great. Beds were nice. The showers need to be fixed. There is very little pressure going to the shower heads making them non functional. There are some items in need of maintenance/repair. Screen by hot tub, toilet seat upper bath and the front steps. The game room needs updated. The pool table needs replace its unusable. The hoop shot has a damaged leg and the arcade game fire button does not work correctly.

Cabin was exactly as pictured online. Only a few things we did not like: parking was an issue for 2 cars so we aren't sure how more would park there, had to call maintenance out 2 different times for plumbing issues, stairs up to cabin are very loose and wobbly.

The cabin was beautiful! Only suggestion I have is to notify the renters of all the stairs you need to go up to enter the cabin. The stairs were very difficult for a couple of my family members. We will be renting from you again! We had a great time! THANK YOU!

customer service is excellent , when we got to our cabin the internet was not working , I called the office and within ,45 minutes a maintance man came and fixed it , we were impressed with how fast it was taken care of . The trip to finding cabin was a little bit of an experience , we are not used to curvy , straight up mountain roads ! scary ! I enjoyed meeting Lorain , I work for her grandparents , a big thank you to her and staff at Auntie Bellum's !

Always a pleasure staying with Auntie Belham's... The only down fall of our cabin was the lack of view, and space. Even though it was 3 stories, it was way smaller than we anticipated for two families (4 adults, and 4 children). There were some neat features to the cabin such as the game room with wet bar, rain maker in both master bedroom showers, and the dual fireplace on the main level was nice to have. We've been staying with Auntie Belhams since 2006 and have never been disappointed. Highly recommended and great staff to always be there for you during your stay.

Excellent. The cabin was ABOVE THE REST. The description didn't do the cabin justice. It had flat screens throughout including a 70 in the movie room. The shower in the Master was the walk-in three headed type. The game room had a stand-up that had all of the 80s greatest including Donkey Kong, Pac man, Frogger , Dig Doug.. ect. There isn't a picture of the Jacuzzi that is inside a screened porch with a gas fire place. If you are undecided on which cabin to pick. Go with this one. Seriously the only downfall was I tried to stay one more night and even though it wasn't rented the rate given was a premium rate. This was for a 1 night Tuesday stay. So even though I wanted to. My pride wouldn't let me. Greeeeaaaatttttttt Cabin!

The free tickets gimmick is deceiving you should reword the way it is worded on all the material and websites. We were lead to believe that we would have 1 free ticket per night per unit. That would equate to the number of nights rented... I.e. 4 nights is 4 tickets per day , which is not what we received.

-How is the drive to this cabin?

The drive to this cabin is steep and winding at times, but 4 wheel drive is not necessary unless it is snowing and/or icing

 

-How close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is this cabin?

This cabin is less than 5 miles from the parkway of Pigeon Forge and less than 8 miles from the parkway of Gatlinburg

 

-How many vehicles will fit in the driveway?

We recommend no more than 2 vehicles for this driveway. The driveway is not level, but not steep either.

 

-Do I need to bring extra toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, etc?

YES… We provide 1 roll of toilet paper per restroom, one trash bag per trash can, 1 roll of paper towels in the kitchen, 1 small bar of soap per sink. You are responsible for bringing your own extras. We also provide 4 towels and 2 wash clothes per F/Q/K bed, 2 towels and 1 wash cloth per twin bed, and 1 kitchen set (1 hand towel, 1 washcloth, starter kit of dish detergent).  We do not provide shampoo, conditioner, lotions, laundry detergent, coffee or coffee filters, salt and pepper, charcoal for grills, daily maid service or flashlights/candles/matches (too often these items were taken home by guests so we stopped providing them).

 

-Is this cabin dog friendly?

NO… And we charge $250 when evidence of dog/animal is found inside unit.

 

-Can I use the fireplace year round?

No. Local fire codes restrict the use of fireplaces April through August and we take this very seriously.

 

-Will I encounter wildlife?

Possibly. Black bears are attracted to food and are very curious and destructive, so DO NOT leave food in your vehicles or unaccompanied food on decks and porches and grills. If your cabin does not have a bear proof trash can, please call us for trash pick up.

And remember, you are surrounded by flourishing nature and a national wildlife reserve, so it’s not unusual for bugs to get into your cabin. We do a very good job of spotting and cleaning bugs before your arrival, but we cannot guarantee they won’t return, just as you can’t prevent 100% of bugs from entering your own home. Please be respectful of the fact that we don’t have total control over nature.

 

-Will the hot tub be clean for my arrival?

Absolutely. In fact the water may still need time to heat up on the day of your arrival. Just keep the cover on the hot tub and turn on the jets, as this will heat the hot tub quicker. To keep your hot tub clean for the length of your stay, keep the cover on the hot tub when not using it and rinse off your skin in the shower before entering the hot tub. Unwashed skin will dirty a hot tub quickly, and we only drain & clean the hot tubs after check-out. If there is sediment in your hot tub upon check-in, it is because your cabin’s water comes from a well.

Vacay Stay Guarantee

The VSG gives your reservation a cancellation policy. Without the VSG you will have a zero cancellation policy and zero reschedule policy. Should you have to cancel your reservation at any point, for any reason, you will lose what you’ve paid up to that point. No exceptions, since the cancellation policy is offered at booking. By not purchasing the VSG, you will accept that you forfeit all monies paid if you have to cancel your reservation.

The Vacay Stay Guarantee allows for:
A 15 day cancellation policy for 1-3 bedroom properties.
A 60 day cancellation policy on 4+ bedroom properties.

For cancellations made outside of the 60 or 15 days, Auntie Belham’s refunds the entire amount of your payments made minus the cost of the VSG (which is only 7% of the total stay + taxes).

For cancellations made inside of 60 or 15 day time frame, when the cancellation policy has expired, you will be allowed to reschedule your stay in that same property within 6 months, but no monies will be refunded. After the 6 months all monies are forfeited.

Without the Vacay Stay Guarantee, absolutely no refunds.

Absolutely no refunds for early departures for any reason including but not limited to: weather, road conditions or family emergencies. We are not responsible for such occurrences and will therefore not refund money because of them.
