Alpine's Shamrock is a "Pot of Gold" when it comes to what you want and need while vacationing in the Great Smoky Mountains! A gorgeous view of the Smokies in a wooded setting is what you'll pull up to at this cabin, and yet this cabin isn't far from all the theaters, shopping and attractions of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville. When you walk through the door of this adorable cabin you will find the living room offers an open and inviting atmosphere where you’ll want to spend those chilly mornings and evenings cozied in front of the stone fireplace. And the kitchen comes fully equipped, of course, giving you all the necessary conveniences needed to whip up big breakfasts and dinners for your loved ones. Just off of the living room and kitchen is the lovely screened in sun-room where you’ll love starting your day with a cup of coffee or tea and ending with a cool beverage at sundown.

Downstairs you will find another bedroom, full bath and living/sitting area. there is no TV downstairs at this time but the owners are working on it.

For total relaxation, boogie on down to the lower level deck where the hot tub will bubble and steam all your cares away. You don’t have to be Irish to luck up with this cabin, so book today!

Our cabin, Alpine Shamrock was clean, fully stocked, full of comfortable amenities and appointments, and the views of the woods and mountains in the wintertime were indescribable. Amazing overall. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We loved the seclusion and screened in porch and the hot tub. The only thing we’d change is it was mid-November and the gas fireplace was unavailable, even though the nights were chilly. The fireplace was one of the reasons we chose that cabin.

The cabin needs some light bulbs installed and some switches remarked. Some of them are not clearly marked and could also use a landlines phone incase of an emergency. Our cell phones didn't work there.

Put reverse directions on the back.. If we hadn't taken the GPS when we left we would have trouble.. It could us a couple more pots and pans. It had plenty of nice towels

Overall a great experience. The only thing I would suggest is to have updated instructions or FAQ for things like the hot tubs. Also, we were made to believe that there would be some limited wifi, but there was none at all. A minor inconvenience, so it's not that big of a deal, but would have liked to know one way or another so we could plan accordingly.

I enjoyed my stay very much. The only problems I had was that there were 2 giant hair wads on the floor, a bar of soap in a drawer in the bathroom that had hair on it and I wish there had been a phone in the cabin. We had people come to the door around 1 am and then just take off once we saw they were out there (it was the night the power went out). It would have been nice to have a phone so we could call and report a problem since there was no cell service at the cabin. It was a really nice place and I had a great time on my trip.

I thought you guys keep us very informed what to expect and things we needed to know. My son got stuck in cabin without any food due to weather and of course as a mom not there I was very worried. Your staff keep us informed and offered to to have someone go get him and take him where he needed to go to get food or to bring him food. That is looking after your renters. The House was extremely clean and was great.

I wanted to say the time we were there was a good one. Thx for answering all my questions each time I called. We did have some small issues there at the cabin. 1) the thermostate would not change temp. 2) the fireplace would not start at first and sometime latter it began to work, but it was on a timer on it which was not so nice. I was wanting a real fireplace. 3) the tub gave out of hot water everytime we took baths, very short amount of time. 4) the satelite stopped working and for two days we did not watch anything, latter I just was a little upset so I went into fix it mode :), I unplugged the reciever and reset it, that did it. The remote just took longer to get it to work. We didn't use the hot tub outside :(. 5) with all the timer fireplace a central heat that you couldn't set, the room where we slept was cold but together snuggled up we did ok, just not ideal. I wanted to say that the pooltable was a highlight while we were there, thx. 6) being that the cabin was so fare out on a single path road we were a little worried about it snowing and freeze that we may not be able to get out, but thanks to the Lord the weather stayed good for us :). We had a wonderful stay after learning our ways :) and we had a good Christmas, Thx. We would like to stay in a cabin closer to the mainparkway rd in the future. We saw a group of cabins called "rental cabins (something) Creek just off of the road we were driving to get to the parkwayand all the shows. But thxs to all we had and the lovely cabin and views. We had a blessed stay there.Thx

The cabin was great and check in process was quick! The only thing we missed was a working land line as indicat d in the book sonour kids could have an emergency number. We asked the 2nd day but no one called back on our cells or brought a phone.

the location as great service was great. We did use a free ticket to the aquarium. Very clean. Some of the cabin things were not working. Icemaker handheld shower not working but it was a great stay. Thank you.

We loved the cabin! The only things I would say you could improve on is better tollet paper and towels. Overall we were very satisfied! Friendly and professional staff!

-How is the drive to this cabin?

The drive to this cabin is easy, though somewhat steep and winding in areas. No 4 wheel drive necessary except during winter conditions.


-How close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is this cabin?

This cabin is 13 miles from the Pigeon Forge parkway and 16 miles from the Gatlinburg Parkway.


-How many vehicles will fit in the driveway?

We recommend only 2 vehicles (of any size).


-Do I need to bring extra toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, etc?

YES… We provide 1 roll of toilet paper per restroom, one trash bag per trash can, 1 roll of paper towels in the kitchen, 1 small bar of soap per sink. You are responsible for bringing your own extras. We also provide 4 towels and 2 wash clothes per F/Q/K bed, 2 towels and 1 wash cloth per twin bed, and 1 kitchen set (1 hand towel, 1 washcloth, starter kit of dish detergent).  We do not provide shampoo, conditioner, lotions, laundry detergent, coffee or coffee filters, salt and pepper, charcoal for grills, daily maid service or flashlights/candles/matches (too often these items were taken home by guests so we stopped providing them).


-Is this cabin dog friendly?

NO… And we charge $250 when evidence of dog/animal is found inside unit.


-Is there another cabin nearby, in case more family wants to join? 

Yes, please check out Love Song.


-Can I use the fireplace year round?

No. Local fire codes restrict the use of fireplaces April through August and we take this very seriously.


-Will I encounter wildlife?

Possibly. Black bears are attracted to food and are very curious and destructive, so DO NOT leave food in your vehicles or unaccompanied food on decks and porches and grills. If your cabin does not have a bear proof trash can, please call us for trash pick up.

And remember, you are surrounded by flourishing nature and a national wildlife reserve, so it’s not unusual for bugs to get into your cabin. We do a very good job of spotting and cleaning bugs before your arrival, but we cannot guarantee they won’t return, just as you can’t prevent 100% of bugs from entering your own home. Please be respectful of the fact that we don’t have total control over nature.


-Will the hot tub be clean for my arrival?

Absolutely. In fact the water may still need time to heat up on the day of your arrival. Just keep the cover on the hot tub and turn on the jets, as this will heat the hot tub quicker. To keep your hot tub clean for the length of your stay, keep the cover on the hot tub when not using it and rinse off your skin in the shower before entering the hot tub. Unwashed skin will dirty a hot tub quickly, and we only drain & clean the hot tubs after check-out. If there is sediment in your hot tub upon check-in, it is because your cabin’s water comes from a well.

Vacay Stay Guarantee

The VSG gives your reservation a cancellation policy. Without the VSG you will have a zero cancellation policy and zero reschedule policy. Should you have to cancel your reservation at any point, for any reason, you will lose what you’ve paid up to that point. No exceptions, since the cancellation policy is offered at booking. By not purchasing the VSG, you will accept that you forfeit all monies paid if you have to cancel your reservation.

The Vacay Stay Guarantee allows for:
A 15 day cancellation policy for 1-3 bedroom properties.
A 60 day cancellation policy on 4+ bedroom properties.

For cancellations made outside of the 60 or 15 days, Auntie Belham’s refunds the entire amount of your payments made minus the cost of the VSG (which is only 7% of the total stay + taxes).

For cancellations made inside of 60 or 15 day time frame, when the cancellation policy has expired, you will be allowed to reschedule your stay in that same property within 6 months, but no monies will be refunded. After the 6 months all monies are forfeited.

Without the Vacay Stay Guarantee, absolutely no refunds.

Absolutely no refunds for early departures for any reason including but not limited to: weather, road conditions or family emergencies. We are not responsible for such occurrences and will therefore not refund money because of them.
