Staff was extremely kind and helpful. Both the check in and check out process was very organized and easy. This made our trip even more enjoyable. The only issue we had was that the beds in our cabin were super cheap and uncomfortable but that's not a reflection on you all, that's the owner's responsibility to update.

Cabin was just as described and pictured. The upstairs mattress on the king bed was noisy but was comfortable. The only annoying issue was water pressure in the upstairs shower. This did create some inconvinience since there were 5 women getting showers daily.

Cabin was a little further off the beaten path than I expected,but we did eventually find it.my only complaint was the mattress in the master bedroom,other than that everything exceeded my expectations.we’ll probably be back next fall....had a great time.Thx for everything!!!

We've stayed with you for the last three trips to the Smokies and would do so again. Love the coupons you offer to area restaurants and attractions! The only reason I took one star off is your new policy of paying for the entire stay TWO weeks BEFORE check in. I don't mind giving you a hefty deposit, but I don't like paying in full before we even get there.

Overall the cabin was ok for a short vacation. However, upon arrival we had to sweep and vacuum the floors. They did not appear to have been cleaned. The furniture in the cabin was not in good condition. The kitchen chairs were very wobbly and some had very loose pieces. You could feel the springs in the sofa. I would also recommend you provide more than one key for the cabin.

Winter Haven was a very nice place to stay. Love that it has an easily accessible driveway--roomy and flat. Cant say this cabin has any luxuries. Shower upstairs was tiny. However, the upstairs bed was comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. We LOVED the porch and spent a lot od time there. Always appreciate the office staff. Everyone is great to work with. Our third great stay with Auntie Belham!! Cant wait for the next one!

Loved the location (way up in the hills) and the cabin was cozy! Only a couple of issues - plug in upstairs bathroom does not work, bed in downstairs bedroom is really loud - and someone needs to clean under the beds (the dust bunnies are HUGE). Other than that, the place was great!

Your company always provides outstanding customer service. However, I would like to say that the cabin we stayed in this past week wasn't very good. The owners should really think about purchasing new living room furniture. The couch and loveseat was worn out. They were very bumpy from the stuffing. The beds squeak and the hot tub is leaning very bad. Not sure if they porch is getting bad or what. This really needs to be checked out. This is the first bad experience we have had with any cabin.

Good customer service. The cabin was beautiful with well stocked kitchen, nice hot tub and everything was very clean. Nice! The beds were not good. The upstairs king was frankly uncomfortable and unbelievably loud with every movement. None of us in our family of 6 slept well on any of the cabin beds. I ended up on the couch the last 2 nights. It was an improvement, but not by much. Aside from that, we really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely choose a different cabin next time due to the beds at Winter Haven.

Thought the living, dining & kitchen areas very nice. Bedrooms: small, no closet to hang clothes, the matress needed updated. Baths were too small. toliets needed updating also flooring in baths could be cleaner. Outside decks need staining. We didn't use the hot tub. Think we were looking for something with more a mountain view and not so hard to find. Would recommend your office staff but probably not the cabin...Needs Updating

Cabin was fantastic - clean, neat & nice-smelling. Hot tub was added bonus. Would have liked a brief list of suggested things to bring with us (paper plates, grilling utensils, dish soap, lighter to start grill, etc), but otherwise well-furnished kitchen. Bedrooms were nice, bathrooms a bit small. Maintenance responded quickly to issue we had with upstairs shower door.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We did find some issues with the plumbing in our cabin. When the washing machine was running upstairs the lower level toilet would burp air making splashing sounds. Flushing was incomplete at other times. A rat ran from the hot tub area and out a hole chewed through the screen of the hot tub area. Besides all that, was a pleasant stay.

Checking in was easy, finding the cabin with the directions provided was easy. Once we were at the cabin, it was clean and fully furnished and had dishes, towels, etc. We even got to see a bear! It got into our trash!!! But it was worth seeing it so close. Once in a lifetime event for me. The beds could be updated. Very uncomfortable (the king upstairs). We ended up going to the queen on the first floor. I plan on using your service in the future.

We love our weekend get away in this cabin, we had a great time everything was good. Thank you very much.

-How is the drive to this cabin?

The drive to this cabin is steep and winding in areas. No 4 wheel drive necessary except during winter weather.

 

-How close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is this cabin?

This cabin is less than 5 miles from the parkway of Pigeon Forge and less than 8 miles from the parkway of Gatlinburg.

 

-How many vehicles will fit in the driveway?

2 vehicles of any size will fit comfortably in this driveway.

 

-Do I need to bring extra toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, etc?

YES… We provide 1 roll of toilet paper per restroom, one trash bag per trash can, 1 roll of paper towels in the kitchen, 1 small bar of soap per sink. You are responsible for bringing your own extras. We also provide 4 towels and 2 wash clothes per F/Q/K bed, 2 towels and 1 wash cloth per twin bed, and 1 kitchen set (1 hand towel, 1 washcloth, starter kit of dish detergent).  We do not provide shampoo, conditioner, lotions, laundry detergent, coffee or coffee filters, salt and pepper, charcoal for grills, daily maid service or flashlights/candles/matches (too often these items were taken home by guests so we stopped providing them).

 

-Is this cabin dog friendly?

NO… And we charge $250 when evidence of dog/animal is found inside unit.

 

-Is there another cabin nearby, in case more family wants to join? 

Yes, please check out Almost Paradise, Autumn Breeze and Hidden Treasures.

 

-Will I encounter wildlife?

Possibly. Black bears are attracted to food and are very curious and destructive, so DO NOT leave food in your vehicles or unaccompanied food on decks and porches and grills. If your cabin does not have a bear proof trash can, please call us for trash pick up.

And remember, you are surrounded by flourishing nature and a national wildlife reserve, so it’s not unusual for bugs to get into your cabin. We do a very good job of spotting and cleaning bugs before your arrival, but we cannot guarantee they won’t return, just as you can’t prevent 100% of bugs from entering your own home. Please be respectful of the fact that we don’t have total control over nature.

 

-Will the hot tub be clean for my arrival?

Absolutely. In fact the water may still need time to heat up on the day of your arrival. Just keep the cover on the hot tub and turn on the jets, as this will heat the hot tub quicker. To keep your hot tub clean for the length of your stay, keep the cover on the hot tub when not using it and rinse off your skin in the shower before entering the hot tub. Unwashed skin will dirty a hot tub quickly, and we only drain & clean the hot tubs after check-out. If there is sediment in your hot tub upon check-in, it is because your cabin’s water comes from a well.

Vacay Stay Guarantee

The VSG gives your reservation a cancellation policy. Without the VSG you will have a zero cancellation policy and zero reschedule policy. Should you have to cancel your reservation at any point, for any reason, you will lose what you’ve paid up to that point. No exceptions, since the cancellation policy is offered at booking. By not purchasing the VSG, you will accept that you forfeit all monies paid if you have to cancel your reservation.

The Vacay Stay Guarantee allows for:
A 15 day cancellation policy for 1-3 bedroom properties.
A 30 day cancellation policy on 4+ bedroom properties.

For cancellations made outside of the 30 or 15 days, Auntie Belham’s refunds the entire amount of your payments made minus the cost of the VSG (which is only 7% of the nightly rate).

For cancellations made inside of 30 or 15 day time frame, when the cancellation policy has expired, you will be allowed to reschedule your stay in that same property within 6 months, but no monies will be refunded. After the 6 months all monies are forfeited.

Without the Vacay Stay Guarantee, absolutely no refunds.

Absolutely no refunds for early departures for any reason including but not limited to: weather, road conditions or family emergencies. We are not responsible for such occurrences and will therefore not refund money because of them.
