The Blue Haze Lodge is a stunning 2 bedroom/2-bathroom home with unmatched style, design, and amenities! With a game room, tons of space, convenience, pet-friendliness, and a private fenced-in front yard with beautiful farmland views and a park style charcoal grill, The Blue Haze Lodge makes for the most perfect Smoky Mountain vacation!

The Blue Haze Lodge shares the outside common areas of the home (pond, firepit, hot tub, grill, outdoor furniture, etc.) with another home on the same property, just like you would if you were staying in a condo or hotel. You can rent the neighboring property (Appalachian Vista) with The Blue Haze Lodge to make it a 5-bedroom called Blue Vista and have the entire space to yourselves! The Blue Haze Lodge has a fenced in front yard all to itself!

The incredible fenced-in front yard is for The Blue Haze Lodge guests only! Lounge on an Adirondack chair on the beautiful, private open air deck and take in the views of the stunning Tennessee farmland. Or enjoy the rocking chairs on the private, covered front porch and admire the adorable decorations while also taking in the relaxing views. You can also grill out on your very own charcoal grill in the front yard. The attention to detail at this home is unmatched!

The Blue Haze Lodge has a bedroom on the main level with 2 double beds in it and a full updated bathroom with walk-in shower next to it. Also on the main level is a game room with an arcade game, electric fireplace, bar area with mini fridge, TV, huge Connect 4, a card table, and the cabinets are stocked with games to play! Curl up on the nook on the window to read a book or to have somewhere cozy to watch your family play games.

Walk through the game room to a cozy leather couch in the foyer, which is perfect for taking a nap or reading a magazine. Beyond that is a large living room with a flat screen TV mounted above a fireplace, a huge leather couch with room for the whole family, and gorgeous built-in bookshelves full of books and beautiful touches. Behind the couch is the dining room table and the luxurious kitchen, which is fully equipped for you to make everyone’s favorite meals (or just a really good cup of coffee)! There is also a washer and dryer in a closet off the kitchen. Head upstairs for the primary bedroom with a king bed, a TV, and an absolutely dreamy bathroom with a walk-in shower!

The fenced-in front yard has farmland views and peaks of mountains in the distance, making it PERFECT for family, engagement, or wedding photos. There is also a gorgeous front porch and front deck area- ideal for relaxing or catching stunning pictures. The backyard is what dreams are made of! With a decorative pond, a firepit, comfy seating, park style charcoal grill, huge fenced-in yard, and a bubbling hot tub, there’s no shortage of ways to relax at The Blue Haze Lodge! Q & A

How is the drive to this cabin?
The drive to this cabin can be thin and winding in areas. 4 wheel drive not necessary except during winter weather.

How close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is this cabin?
This cabin is about 8 miles from the parkway of Pigeon Forge and roughly 15 miles from the parkway of Gatlinburg.

How many vehicles will fit in the driveway?
3 vehicles of any size will fit comfortably in this driveway.

Is this cabin dog friendly?
Yes… We charge $75 per dog, up to 2 dogs, dogs cannot individually exceed 60 pounds. No more than 2 dogs are permitted. The dog(s) must not be left alone in the cabin unless they are in a crate. We charge accordingly for damage done by dogs such as scratches and chew marks, and for extra cleaning due to shedding in beds, soiled carpet/rugs and fecal matter left behind. Do not let your dog(s) sleep in beds or relieve itself inside the cabin.

Can I use the fireplace year round?
No, local fire codes restrict the use of fireplaces April through August. After the fires of 2016 our community takes this very seriously.

Is there another cabin nearby, in case more family wants to join?
Appalachian Vista shares the same property as this cabin. If you would like to book both cabins as 1 reservation, please find "Blue Vista" on our website. This is the combined listing for The Blue Haze Lodge and Appalachian Vista.

Do I need to bring extra toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, etc?
YES… We provide 1 roll of toilet paper per restroom, one trash bag per trash can, 1 roll of paper towels in the kitchen, 1 small bar of soap per sink. You are responsible for bringing your own extras. We also provide 4 towels and 2 wash clothes per F/Q/K bed, 2 towels and 1 wash cloth per twin bed, and 1 kitchen set (1 hand towel, 1 washcloth, starter kit of dish detergent). We do not provide shampoo, conditioner, lotions, laundry detergent, coffee or coffee filters, salt and pepper, charcoal for grills, daily maid service or flashlights/candles/matches (too often these items were taken home by guests so we stopped providing them).

Will I encounter wildlife?
Possibly. Black bears are attracted to food and are very curious and destructive, so DO NOT leave food in your vehicles or unaccompanied food on decks and porches and grills. If your cabin does not have a bear proof trash can, please call us for trash pick up.
And remember, you are surrounded by flourishing nature and a national wildlife reserve, so it’s not unusual for bugs to get into your cabin. We do a very good job of spotting and cleaning bugs before your arrival, but we cannot guarantee they won’t return, just as you can’t prevent 100% of bugs from entering your own home. Please be respectful of the fact that we don’t have total control over nature.

Will the hot tub be clean for my arrival?
Absolutely. In fact the water may still need time to heat up on the day of your arrival. Just keep the cover on the hot tub and turn on the jets, as this will heat the hot tub quicker. To keep your hot tub clean for the length of your stay, keep the cover on the hot tub when not using it and rinse off your skin in the shower before entering the hot tub. Unwashed skin will dirty a hot tub quickly, and we only drain & clean the hot tubs after check-out. If there is sediment in your hot tub upon check-in, it is because your cabin’s water comes from a well.

This was probably my most favorite Airbnb I have ever stayed in. The home was beautiful, spacious, clean, well decorated, very dog friendly and homey. We brought our 13lb dog and it was the perfect fenced in yard for her. We spent so much time on the front porch while my daughter and dog played in the yard. The views were beautiful and the sunsets were even more beautiful. The area is very quiet but also close to everything. I would highly recommend this home to anyone. My one and only recommendation to make check in a little easier is to be more clear on where to park and what door has the key pad lock on it. We were definitely confused when we first arrived. Luckly we pretty quickly figured out out.
