This is our second time staying in a cabin with you and it was wonderful! The house was almost brand new and beautiful. Check-in was a breeze, customer service was excellent, and the Xplorie card was a nice touch.

Our chalet was beautiful! Loved it so much. Only thing I would add is a TV in the master bedroom and maybe a sleeper sofa up in the game room for families. Must of have a bear come visit us during the night. Our grill was moved on our patio and grease pan taken off. Just wished we could have seen the bear thru the window!

Everything was great....From the reservations...customer service....or maintenance. The home was beautiful...one small problem with the hot tub but maintenance was quick to comply. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts being cooped up during this season of sickness made us realize how important it is to love your family. Thanks again and we look forward to our next visit, but next time it will not so far up the mountain.

Beautiful cabin. We seen a bear in the woods next to cabin. We enjoyed our stay. Maintenance man dropped by to see if we needed anything which was great because I was having problems figuring out how to get channels on tv. He showed us how to get Netflix... etc. Also great customer service!!

We really enjoyed this cabin. I read a lot of reviews on other cabins before deciding to go with this one. The main complaints on the other cabins was not having enough of the basic essentials. This cabin did not have that problem. There was plenty of pillows and blankets. There was all the dishes and pans you needed and even things I didnt expect such as a blender and crock pot. They even had coffee filters for the coffee pot. They provide plenty of towels and toiletries as well. The view wasnt as great but the hot tub was amazing. I would definitely recommend this cabin.

It was our 22nd anniversary. We enjoyed every moment at heart desire. So comfortable, close to Gatlinburg, great options for food as well. It’s our favorite and plan on coming back as soon as we get a chance. Also beautiful views and so much attention to detail with how the floor plan was created. Hot tub was awesome and inside was just as fantastic. We enjoyed every minute and will return yearly. The cabin is only 2 years old and has plenty of modern comforts, but still a cabin vibe. Staff was great on check in and very helpful. Property was extremely clean and I’m very picky. I was over all surprised and impressed. Really no other reason to pick another location. We’ll be back soon!!!

It was a very good experience, check in was easy and the staff was very friendly.

-How is the drive to this cabin?

The drive to this cabin is steep and winding in areas. No 4 wheel drive necessary except during winter weather.

-How close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is this cabin?

This cabin is 5 miles from the parkway of Pigeon Forge and 3 miles from the parkway of Gatlinburg.

-How many vehicles will fit in the driveway?

2-3 vehicles will fit comfortably in this driveway.

-Do I need to bring extra toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, etc?

YES… We provide 1 roll of toilet paper per restroom, one trash bag per trash can, 1 roll of paper towels in the kitchen, 1 small bar of soap per sink. You are responsible for bringing your own extras. We also provide 4 towels and 2 wash clothes per F/Q/K bed, 2 towels and 1 wash cloth per twin bed, and 1 kitchen set (1 hand towel, 1 washcloth, starter kit of dish detergent).  We do not provide shampoo, conditioner, lotions, laundry detergent, coffee or coffee filters, salt and pepper, charcoal for grills, daily maid service or flashlights/candles/matches (too often these items were taken home by guests so we stopped providing them).

-Is this cabin dog friendly?

NO… And we charge $250 when evidence of dog/animal is found inside unit.

-Can I use the fireplace year round?

No. Local fire codes restrict the use of fireplaces April through August and we take this very seriously.

-Will I encounter wildlife?

Possibly. Black bears are attracted to food and are very curious and destructive, so DO NOT leave food in your vehicles or unaccompanied food on decks and porches and grills. If your cabin does not have a bear proof trash can, please call us for trash pick up.

And remember, you are surrounded by flourishing nature and a national wildlife reserve, so it’s not unusual for bugs to get into your cabin. We do a very good job of spotting and cleaning bugs before your arrival, but we cannot guarantee they won’t return, just as you can’t prevent 100% of bugs from entering your own home. Please be respectful of the fact that we don’t have total control over nature.

-Will the hot tub be clean for my arrival?

Absolutely. In fact the water may still need time to heat up on the day of your arrival. Just keep the cover on the hot tub and turn on the jets, as this will heat the hot tub quicker. To keep your hot tub clean for the length of your stay, keep the cover on the hot tub when not using it and rinse off your skin in the shower before entering the hot tub. Unwashed skin will dirty a hot tub quickly, and we only drain & clean the hot tubs after check-out. If there is sediment in your hot tub upon check-in, it is because your cabin’s water comes from a well.
