With premium amenities, tons of space, and the best views around, you, your friends, and your family will make amazing memories at Top of the World!
When you pull up the driveway and get to take in the gorgeous grounds of this Wears Valley cabin, you’ll immediately understand why it’s named Top of the World. On top of a mountain with views of the valley and the national park, it’s truly an unrivaled view of the Smokies. At the top of the driveway is the adorable barn that boasts an indoor pool- it has privacy, comfort, and luxury! There is also a full bathroom in the pool area. To the left of the home is an outdoor fire pit, where you can comfortably sit to roast marshmallows while taking in that world class view.
You will enter Top of the World into the main level’s foyer and to your right is the fully-stocked kitchen and dining area. With an industrial sized refrigerator and tons of space for seating and eating, you have all the opportunity to make your favorite meals. Through the kitchen is the massive living room, with comfy couches (1 sleeper sofa), a stone wood-burning fireplace, a flat screen TV, and huge windows that let you take in that AMAZING view even from the comfort of the inside! Also on this level is a king-sized bedroom, a queen-sized bedroom, a full bathroom, and a half bathroom. The deck for the main level has no shortage of seating options, so brew that coffee, pour a cup, and rock away while catching the Smoky Mountain sunrise!
Head upstairs to the gigantic primary suite! With a king bed, flat screen TV, its own fireplace and seating area, the main suite has everything you could want. Just off the main suite is another bedroom with a set of queen bunkbeds. There is a full bathroom upstairs, as well as a sauna! Sleep, watch TV, relax, or hit the sauna without ever having to leave the upstairs!
The fun doesn’t even end upstairs- head downstairs to the lowest level and take advantage of the nonstop entertainment! Pool table, wet bar, arcade games (Buck Hunter and racing games, anyone?), air hockey, movie theatre…. Need we say more?? When you walk out onto the lower level deck space, you’ll find even more options to catch the breathtaking views, but our personal favorite is from the bubbling hot tub! Also on the lowest level are 2 more king-sized bedrooms both with TVs, three sets of twin bunkbeds, two full bathrooms, and a laundry room.
Top of the World is an absolutely gorgeous, luxury cabin that offers all the amenities you could want for a vacation. Make it your home for a week and enjoy your Smoky Mountain vacation in luxury!
PARDON THE MESS!! We want y’all to know there has been construction within close proximity to this cabin, and for this reason we are running the “Construction Special” which automatically takes 30% off the rental rate for 2024 reservations made directly on our website. This may not apply for reservations made on 3rd party booking sites. What are the details of this construction, you ask? This home shares a driveway with another lot. A portion of our driveway, and the lot upon which a new home will be built, are both under construction. At times, road construction may be within 10 feet of this cabin, and there may be construction vehicles and items around the home and in the driveway. It is for these reasons that we’re offering extremely discounted rates for On Top Of The World. By booking this property, you are acknowledging the presence of construction near your property during the entirety of your stay, and you are accepting that no further refunds will be given for construction related concerns.
Anticipated completion of construction is the end of 2024. Please note that neither Auntie Belham's Cabin Rentals, nor the owner of On Top Of The World, have organized this construction, and cannot speak with certainty regarding dates and timing of construction.

Do I need to bring extra toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, etc?
YES… We provide 1 roll of toilet paper per restroom, one trash bag per trash can, 1 roll of paper towels in the kitchen, 1 small bar of soap per sink. You are responsible for bringing your own extras. We also provide 4 towels and 2 wash clothes per F/Q/K bed, 2 towels and 1 wash cloth per twin bed, and 1 kitchen set (1 hand towel, 1 washcloth, starter kit of dish detergent). We do not provide shampoo, conditioner, lotions, laundry detergent, coffee or coffee filters, salt and pepper, charcoal for grills, daily maid service or flashlights/candles/matches (too often these items were taken home by guests so we stopped providing them).
Will I encounter wildlife?
Possibly. Black bears are attracted to food and are very curious and destructive, so DO NOT leave food in your vehicles or unaccompanied food on decks and porches and grills. If your cabin does not have a bear proof trash can, please call us for trash pick up.
And remember, you are surrounded by flourishing nature and a national wildlife reserve, so it’s not unusual for bugs to get into your cabin. We do a very good job of spotting and cleaning bugs before your arrival, but we cannot guarantee they won’t return, just as you can’t prevent 100% of bugs from entering your own home. Please be respectful of the fact that we don’t have total control over nature.
Will the hot tub be clean for my arrival?
Absolutely. In fact the water may still need time to heat up on the day of your arrival. Just keep the cover on the hot tub and turn on the jets, as this will heat the hot tub quicker. To keep your hot tub clean for the length of your stay, keep the cover on the hot tub when not using it and rinse off your skin in the shower before entering the hot tub. Unwashed skin will dirty a hot tub quickly, and we only drain & clean the hot tubs after check-out. If there is sediment in your hot tub upon check-in, it is because your cabin’s water comes from a well.
