Seclusion, hot tub, and amenities! Bear Paw is the right priced cabin for you! This quaint and cozy three-bedroom cabin is located just minutes from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the National Park. When you pull up to the cabin, you’re welcomed by a cute gravel patio with a picnic table. Perfect for those summer days when you want to enjoy the shade and a cold beverage. You enter the cabin at the game room- where all the fun happens. You’ve got a foosball table, a bumper pool table, a flat screen TV, a table for playing games, and a futon! There is also a bedroom with a queen bed on this lower level, as well as a spacious bathroom with a standup shower.

Walk up the stairs to the kitchen, living room, and another bedroom with queen size bed. There’s also the second full bathroom and the washer/dryer. It’s on this level that you have access to the very private deck that offers rocking chairs, a grill, and a large hot tub for relaxing. There’s no better spot for taking a deep breath of that sweet mountain air! If you go upstairs, you will enter the final lofted bedroom with a full-size bed.

This property is not pet friendly and is smoke-free property. Steep and winding mountain roads to cabin.

Everything was very easy to reserve, every step explained well. I appreciate the clarity & simplification on every step to reserving the cabin, getting to the cabin & how to leave the cabin & check out. The cabin was very nice, lots of dishes, pots, pans, utensils, etc. It could have been a little cleaner, there was dust on the fans that was built up good & an odor of cigarette smoke was in the cabin for sure. That being said, we would probably stay there again. Thank you for everything.

Loved everything about our stay at the cabin! Washing machine needs some work and a sofa sleeper was advertised but not available. The children only had futon to sleep on so a little cramped for sleeping places. Otherwise, awesome!!!

Cabin was clean and fully stocked. The only suggestion would be to indicate, to guests staying during Christmas, if there was a Christmas tree in the cabin. Last year the cabin we stayed in had one but not the cabin we stayed at this year. Not a major quibble, just a suggestion

House was very clean. Beds were comfy. LOVED that they had games and books there for us to enjoy. No internet service or wifi but I have to say that was my favorite part. My family couldn't play on their phones while we were at the cabin. We actually enjoyed a few of your games and sat on the back deck swinging and talking. We really enjoyed our trip!!

We will definitely stay with Auntie Belham's Cabins again. The rental process, check in process and checkout were all very smooth. The cabin we rented was very clean! Our family was very comfortable with all the space in the cabin. There were plenty of towels and the kitchen was definitely well stocked with everything we could have needed. We did find the beds a bit uncomfortable and were the sizes listed on the floor plan, but we managed. The directions to the cabin were spot on and easy to follow. The explorie card was a cool bonus. Thank you for a great experience!

It was nice, but the cabin could use some updating. The downstairs looks very old compared to the rest of the house. The front door was difficult to lock and unlock. Wifi would be helpful - we found it difficult to look up activities and restaurants while we were in the cabin.

The women in the office were very helpful especially dince we didn't have a reservation. The only suggestion we have is to make sure the cabin we stayed at is dusted more often since not being used much. Maybe freshen up the curtains. We basically used the main level floor & the bed was very comfortable. The hot tub was awesome & worked well. We lost power Sunday night for a couple of hours, man it was dark. So maybe some jar candles & a large flashligh could be supplied. We had two purse size flashlights of our own. The cabin just needed major dusting. Maybe some fabreeze plug-ins as well. Just some suggestions! But we enjoyed the cabin very much!

My husband and I booked this cabin for our anniversary weekend. We loved the Bear Paw. The check in associates were very accommodating but unfortunately we couldn't make it to the cabin until after dark. The road to the cabin is a little scary and confusing in the dark, so I recommend making sure to get there in daylight. But once we got inside, all stress was wiped away. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. We had a great time sitting in the hot tub, playing bumper pool, sitting on the deck, listening to the rain, cooking steaks on the grill and relaxing on the comfy couches watching tv. Everything you would need to cook is there except the ingredients. We did have to "Goldilocks and the Three Bear" the beds to find one that was comfortable but we are pretty big people and used to a king size bed, so I'm sure that was a factor. The only thing I would recommend is an update on the tv in the living room. Overall we had a wonderful experience with Auntie Belhams's customer service and the cabin. Can't wait to come back with the kids.

Everything was great at the cabin. The only thing we saw that there is a board on the third step at the bottom that is completely a loose and it almost caused us to fall when we stepped to the side. Other than that it's great.

All the great things about the cabin, far out weigh anything bad. With that said. Only one complaint, I would not recommend the beds. Lower level- one can see a dip in the middle of the bed. Our guest with us said that they rolled to the center. Second level bed was too hard with no pillow top for comfort. We were glad to get in the hot tub each morning for relief. Hot tub was better than most places we have stayed. A-1 rating for plush towels and fully stocked kitchen. Over all we received a good value for our $$.

The cabin was very clean and neat and had all the necessary items. The instructions were clear and it was evident that the cabin had been updated significantly. The only criticism would be that some of the furniture and the pool table need to be replaced as those items were extremely well worn. Also, mainly our fault, but in the driving instructions, I think it would be helpful to say, "the SECOND left onto Sky Drive which is a stop." We got a tour of the mountain because we took the first left (and didn't think hard enough about the fact it wasn't a stop sign).

-How is the drive to this cabin?

The drive to this cabin is steep and winding is some areas. 4 wheel drive recommended for winter conditions.

 

-How close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is this cabin?

This cabin is 3.5 miles from the parkway of Pigeon Forge and less than 7 miles from the parkway of Gatlinburg.

 

-How many vehicles will fit in the driveway?

We recommend only 2-3 vehicles.

 

-Do I need to bring extra toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, etc?

YES… We provide 1 roll of toilet paper per restroom, one trash bag per trash can, 1 roll of paper towels in the kitchen, 1 small bar of soap per sink. You are responsible for bringing your own extras. We also provide 4 towels and 2 wash clothes per F/Q/K bed, 2 towels and 1 wash cloth per twin bed, and 1 kitchen set (1 hand towel, 1 washcloth, starter kit of dish detergent).  We do not provide shampoo, conditioner, lotions, laundry detergent, coffee or coffee filters, salt and pepper, charcoal for grills, daily maid service or flashlights/candles/matches (too often these items were taken home by guests so we stopped providing them).

 

-Is this cabin dog friendly?

NO… And we charge $250 when evidence of dog/animal is found inside unit.

 

-Will I encounter wildlife?

Possibly. Black bears are attracted to food and are very curious and destructive, so DO NOT leave food in your vehicles or unaccompanied food on decks and porches and grills. If your cabin does not have a bear proof trash can, please call us for trash pick up.

And remember, you are surrounded by flourishing nature and a national wildlife reserve, so it’s not unusual for bugs to get into your cabin. We do a very good job of spotting and cleaning bugs before your arrival, but we cannot guarantee they won’t return, just as you can’t prevent 100% of bugs from entering your own home. Please be respectful of the fact that we don’t have total control over nature.

 

-Will the hot tub be clean for my arrival?

Absolutely. In fact the water may still need time to heat up on the day of your arrival. Just keep the cover on the hot tub and turn on the jets, as this will heat the hot tub quicker. To keep your hot tub clean for the length of your stay, keep the cover on the hot tub when not using it and rinse off your skin in the shower before entering the hot tub. Unwashed skin will dirty a hot tub quickly, and we only drain & clean the hot tubs after check-out. If there is sediment in your hot tub upon check-in, it is because your cabin’s water comes from a well.

Vacay Stay Guarantee

The VSG gives your reservation a cancellation policy. Without the VSG you will have a zero cancellation policy and zero reschedule policy. Should you have to cancel your reservation at any point, for any reason, you will lose what you’ve paid up to that point. No exceptions, since the cancellation policy is offered at booking. By not purchasing the VSG, you will accept that you forfeit all monies paid if you have to cancel your reservation.

The Vacay Stay Guarantee allows for:
A 15 day cancellation policy for 1-3 bedroom properties.
A 60 day cancellation policy on 4+ bedroom properties.

For cancellations made outside of the 60 or 15 days, Auntie Belham’s refunds the entire amount of your payments made minus the cost of the VSG (which is only 7% of the total stay + taxes).

For cancellations made inside of 60 or 15 day time frame, when the cancellation policy has expired, you will be allowed to reschedule your stay in that same property within 6 months, but no monies will be refunded. After the 6 months all monies are forfeited.

Without the Vacay Stay Guarantee, absolutely no refunds.

Absolutely no refunds for early departures for any reason including but not limited to: weather, road conditions or family emergencies. We are not responsible for such occurrences and will therefore not refund money because of them.
