What people are saying about this property
It was a great stay at the cabin and the Mountain View was fantastic. Great amenities on the property site!!
Cabin was very nice and clean! While we expected the driveway to be steep there wasn't much flat spot parking especially for full size trucks. We were ab;e to get parked just a little tight turning around. We had a great stay! Only thing we noticed was the lack of lighting outside on the deck. We only found 1 light that worked by the back door. There was a switch by the other door but it did not work so not sure how much lighting there was there. Other than that it was a very nice cabin with plenty of room for us!
Loved our stay at Stonewood Lodge! The check in process was incredibly easy; especially since we arrived to our cabin after hours. My husband loved the steep winding roads up to the cabin. You definitely need a 4WD to get up the mountain. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed, except laundry soap. The only complaints I have is that the floors were pretty slippery inside. So be careful wearing socks while walking around. Also there wasn’t much outdoor lightning. It was hard to see around the property at night; so bring a flashlight! Overall wonderful experience with Auntie Belham’s! We will be staying again!
Overall Auntie Belham's is very good to deal with. Check in process goes smoothly.
Good the cabin we stayed in had some issues but nothing that “ruined” our trip. Gas grill could night light and we did not have a lighter brought special food to grill out with, porch lights were burnt out and we arrived after dark so it was a little difficult being new to area, ceilings fan ultra noisy in master, the Keurig coffee maker had a moldy coffee “pod” in it, no soaps for dishwasher or washing machine. Not a home away from home ready cabin.
Great! Cabin was clean, it was a wonderful experience, nice view
Check in was a little more difficult then it should have been but overall we enjoyed he cabin and everything was nice there.
First time renting a cabin in the area and we will be back!!
Staff at Auntie Belhams was very nice, and friendly. Love working with them, the free tickets to things make it worth it to stay with you all.
Very positive experience! Staff at rental company were informative and friendly. Cabin was very nice and well taken care of! We were very happy with the cleanliness and upkeep!
Cabin was excellent. Housekeeping was great. Disappointed in discounts promised for attractions
Everything was smooth and no issues. I would recommend staying here again.
Easy check in! Place was beautiful! Didn’t really care for the parking arrangements and view!
Cabins were more than I expected as well as the curtosy of the staff. I will recommend Auntie Belham to anyone I know looking for a beautiful and one of a kind vacation spots. Thank you to all the staff for making my and my family’s vacation spectacular!!!!
Check In was really easy and staff was super nice! Our cabin was nice and clean! The only negative thing is the cabin road.... but everything went well!
We stayed at Stonewood lodge and it was beautiful! The Road and steep driveway was the worst part.
Great... really enjoyed my stay. I have already recommended this place to my friends. I think I'm going to rent the same cabin again
Cabin was nice. Maintenance gave a scare coming by as we about to hit hot tub.
The descriptions of the cabin were very accurate. I also appreciate the ease of check-in.
The experience was very good!! We only had one minor inconvenience with the Keurig, but it wasn’t a big deal.
Wonderful service with a great friendly staff. Will definitely recommend and use them again! I can't wait to come back again.
We had a great time at this cabin. It was very nice. The driveway was pretty steep but it was well worth it. Great place to stay!
Staff was great. Had everything ready when we arrived. Cabin was clean and stocked with the essential supplies needed. Would highly recommend.
Everyone we spoke with was very friendly. We only had one hiccup: when we arrived to our cabin the code that was given to us for our key box did not work. When we called they were going to have maintenance come out and take a look which was going to take awhile since we were farther out. After a few minutes of trying we discovered the code given was off by one number and was able to get into the cabin. We called them back to inform them of the error. We felt that the situation was handled appropriately and they were apologetic when the situation arose. Other than that, the cabin was clean and very nice! We enjoyed our stay and would stay with them again.
Everything went very smooth. Very nice customer service. I would rent again from them.
My family and I loved our stay! The kids didn't even want to leave, and I honestly didn't want to either! The cabin was beautiful and the views are amazing!! I can't wait to come back!!
The cabin was absolutely beautiful and we all enjoyed our stay. Wasn't real crazy about the 2 mile drive up the mountain with steep hills and sharp turns, but kinda got use to it.
As far as cleanliness and setup of cabin everything was great. There was a small issue at check in where guard house had me down to check in a day later but one phone call quickly corrected that issue. The only negative was the bed downstairs. It was awful and mattress needs to be replaced. It was obviously worn out and sagged towards the middle.
2 very crucial unpleasant surprises... one was the very steep and "scary" narrow roads within this community. Although we got used to it, this was almost a deal breaker upon arrival. Second was the no internet wifi.
Great Cabin, Great Customer Service, Fun Time! We will be back!
Cabin was beautiful and clean. Auntie Belham's staff was super friendly and helpful in making sure our stay was great. The cabin interior door knobs to the bedrooms were not locking and need repaired.
-How is the drive to this cabin?
The drive to this cabin is steep and winding in areas. No 4 wheel drive necessary except during winter weather.
-How close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is this cabin?
This cabin is 8 miles from the parkway of Pigeon Forge and 16 miles from the parkway of Gatlinburg.
-How many vehicles will fit in the driveway?
3 vehicles will fit in this driveway.
-Do I need to bring extra toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, etc?
YES… We provide 1 roll of toilet paper per restroom, one trash bag per trash can, 1 roll of paper towels in the kitchen, 1 small bar of soap per sink. You are responsible for bringing your own extras. We also provide 4 towels and 2 wash clothes per F/Q/K bed, 2 towels and 1 wash cloth per twin bed, and 1 kitchen set (1 hand towel, 1 washcloth, starter kit of dish detergent). We do not provide shampoo, conditioner, lotions, laundry detergent, coffee or coffee filters, salt and pepper, charcoal for grills, daily maid service or flashlights/candles/matches (too often these items were taken home by guests so we stopped providing them).
-Is this cabin dog friendly?
NO… And we charge $250 when evidence of dog/animal is found inside unit.
-Will I encounter wildlife?
Possibly. Black bears are attracted to food and are very curious and destructive, so DO NOT leave food in your vehicles or unaccompanied food on decks and porches and grills. If your cabin does not have a bear proof trash can, please call us for trash pick up.
And remember, you are surrounded by flourishing nature and a national wildlife reserve, so it’s not unusual for bugs to get into your cabin. We do a very good job of spotting and cleaning bugs before your arrival, but we cannot guarantee they won’t return, just as you can’t prevent 100% of bugs from entering your own home. Please be respectful of the fact that we don’t have total control over nature.
-Will the hot tub be clean for my arrival?
Absolutely. In fact the water may still need time to heat up on the day of your arrival. Just keep the cover on the hot tub and turn on the jets, as this will heat the hot tub quicker. To keep your hot tub clean for the length of your stay, keep the cover on the hot tub when not using it and rinse off your skin in the shower before entering the hot tub. Unwashed skin will dirty a hot tub quickly, and we only drain & clean the hot tubs after check-out. If there is sediment in your hot tub upon check-in, it is because your cabin’s water comes from a well.
