Cabin was very nice, well stocked with dishes for us to cook. We had plenty of towels and rags to wash with, didn't have to exchange any at the office. We washed clothes while there which makes it an easy trip home without loads of laundry to do when I get home.

We love Auntie Belam’s cabins especially Bear Cub Hideaway. This cabin is immaculately clean and so nice to stay in. This is our second year staying in this cabin and we absolutely love it! The staff is always so friendly and we love the area the cabin is located in. One thing to look at, on our last day my husband used the upstairs bathroom for the first time so we both could get ready at the same time. When he flushed the toilet some water dripped from the ceiling into the hot tub. If maintenance could please take a look at this. Again we love this cabin and plan on staying here again next year ♥️

Love staying in one of your Cabins. Been staying with ya'll for 20 years. Started staying in "Sweet Surrender" way back then. Ready to come back. Love the check out procedure. Pictures are true. One thing with Bear Cub Hideaway would be nice to have had more cable channels to choose from.

Upon arrival, I was panicked to realize that I had left my driver's license in another vehicle at home. The staff at check-in were very helpful in resolving the issue and putting me at ease. Detailed directions to the office would have made our check-in process much easier. Using Google maps and the Waze app directed us through difficult areas to navigate. The amenities were nearly perfect. Due to the poor water pressure, the whirlpool tubs were very slow to fill, thus rendering them too inconvenient to use. I'm only mentioning these details simply to make you aware of it. Overall, my family had a wonderful stay. I would not hesitate to book with you again. I appreciate the services you provided.

We loved this cabin and we love the service we always receive from Auntie Belham’s. There were a few minor repairs needed at the cabin that we did not notice until later on in our stay. The recliner would not latch back unless you physically stood up and pushed it in with your hands. Several jets on the hot tub did not work. The comforter on the master bed was very thin, more like a sheet. Luckily we had a blanket. The front door also had a broken blind. Despite these minor details the cabin was fabulous! It was so clean and homey. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!!!! We will be back next year:)

The check in was simple enough but I think that the directions given could be soooo much better! When we called to say we were a bite lost, we were told to call back if we still couldn’t find the cabin, a callback to ensure we had found it would have been nice.

Beautiful views from a beautiful cabin! The drive in was terrifying but worth the anxiety haha! All the amenities were there. Short drive to anywhere. The courtesy calls were appreciated as well. The staff that I met were extremely pleasant! We had a blast and I would definitely be interested in returning!

Cabin was nice and very clean for the most part! Would've been glad for a bit more of a heads up how far back in off the 'main drag' the cabin was - I had a hard time telling that from your website. We were also surprised at just how steep and twisty-turny the roads were with no guard rails. Our second day there we actually saw an accident in which a car had gone down over. I know you mentioned in the rental agreement that some of the road conditions can be like this but it would've been nice if there was something clarifying this a little more specifically on this particular cabins description.

Directions to the cabin were spot on! The cabin was very clean and spacious. There were plenty of towels and dishes that we needed. I wish there had been instructions for use of the hot tub but once we figured it out it was awesome! Overall we had a wonderful experience!

We have stayed with Auntie Belham's before (in 2015) and were pleased with this rental, although we thought that the 2015 rental was a much better value for the money. This cabin had some cobwebs and dead bugs in the downstairs bathroom and the towels for that Jacuzzi tub did not appear to be clean and fresh. We also found that we had to purchase quite a few more things at the grocery store than we did in the past. The first rental in 2015 had a Keurig coffee maker with a huge selection of coffee and tea. This time nothing was provided. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but would prefer a cabin more like the first one when we visit again.

I loved it. It was amazing, beautiful.I will be back. Only one concern, some where around the outside grill there is a yellow jacket nest close by cause there was a lot flying around the grill. Other than that we had a blast love it.

Everything was great. I will say, I got kind of annoyed with the phone calls, "just making sure" of everything but overall everything was pretty good. I would recommend cleaning the toilets a tad better, however I personally don't freak out about that sort of stuff. I just know some people get very grossed out easily.

Vacay Stay Guarantee

The VSG gives your reservation a cancellation policy. Without the VSG you will have a zero cancellation policy and zero reschedule policy. Should you have to cancel your reservation at any point, for any reason, you will lose what you’ve paid up to that point. No exceptions, since the cancellation policy is offered at booking. By not purchasing the VSG, you will accept that you forfeit all monies paid if you have to cancel your reservation.

The Vacay Stay Guarantee allows for:
A 15 day cancellation policy for 1-3 bedroom properties.
A 30 day cancellation policy on 4+ bedroom properties.

For cancellations made outside of the 30 or 15 days, Auntie Belham’s refunds the entire amount of your payments made minus the cost of the VSG (which is only 7% of the nightly rate).

For cancellations made inside of 30 or 15 day time frame, when the cancellation policy has expired, you will be allowed to reschedule your stay in that same property within 6 months, but no monies will be refunded. After the 6 months all monies are forfeited.

Without the Vacay Stay Guarantee, absolutely no refunds.

Absolutely no refunds for early departures for any reason including but not limited to: weather, road conditions or family emergencies. We are not responsible for such occurrences and will therefore not refund money because of them.
