Two story log cabin with a big covered deck and a picnic table! Enjoy the HDTV with surround sound in the nicely decorated living area, or head upstairs to the Bunk Bed room and relax in the oversize Bean Bag chairs or the twin over full bunk beds with your favorite movie on the large Screen TV with surround sound. You can even sync to the surround system with your Bluetooth phone to listen to your own private collection of music. You have your choice of either Charcoal or Gas Grill when deciding what to cook for the family. After dinner, compete in a game of darts to see who cleans the dishes after dinner. Located in a private setting for a relaxing vacation in the Smoky Mountains. This cabin offers internet, unlimited local and long distance calls, and over 75 HD digital channels.

The cabin is lovely but is in need of some upgrades ( we stayed here 2 1/2 years ago and everything is the same) The flatware needs improvement. Have to wash forks and knives ( some decent steak knives ) after every meal and there were only two of us. Also need to upgrade pots and fry pans. No bowls to make a salad. Might want to think about a DVD player in main room so you can enjoy the fire also. Probably the cost of a 2 night stay would cover these improvements

Our stay with Auntie Belhams was very easy and enjoyable. From day one we were greeted by customer service to tell us we had been upgraded to a bigger cabin due to the internet and cable being out at the original cabin we chose. We were also able to stay an additional night for half price! I couldn’t be happier with the friendly service and will highly recommend it to family and friends. This trip we stay at Misty Morning, and as with all of Auntie Belham’s cabins that we have stay at (this being the fourth) never an issue from making the reservation to the serve we receive from the Ladies at the desk. This cabin was great for the wife and me to get away, loved the theater room & of course the hot tub. Great decks for overlooking the mountains. We will definitely be renting this cabin again.

We had a nice, relaxing weekend. We were mostly happy with our cabin. Our biggest complaints were even after we drove to the reality, which wasn’t nearby, to get firewood, we came back to the cabin only to find there were no matches or lighters anywhere to be found. We gave up on a fire even though it was in the teens and we were really looking forward to one. It was crazy to think people would pack matches for a weekend trip. Also, Netflix was blocked in the theater with a password so they only thing you could do was watch tv in the “cool” theater. Very disappointing on a cold, rainy night. Other than that, we loved the cabin. We especially enjoyed the hot tub.

This is our 3rd time to stay at this property, and even though it is nothing fancy (definitely needs a few updates such as the shower head, the couch upstairs and outside decking/stairs) it is always clean. We like the location which is close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Don't expect any mountain views, but it still has pretty, wooded views.

Our entire stay was fantastic. The cabin was everything we'd dreamed of, the staff was so friendly and accommodating, and event included was just above and beyond. All together, we didn't ever want to leave! The only tiny detail we would've changed was that our bed was so squeaky that we woke each other up every night. But it didn't diminish our stay... We will definitely be coming back!

Internet search for cabins in the area The check-in process was easy, convenient, and the house met our expectations. The only suggestion would be if there was a way to have the front porch lights on if there is a late check-in. We had a difficult time seeing the key box numbers and instructions to getting our key. Awesome cabin. Only changes we would make would be to clean all the cob webs from the porch and add a block out curtain to the bedroom. Also try and have all the electronics programmed to one remote for easier use. Otherwise a great stay and will definitely be back

I loved the staff and their friendliness. I was disappointed in the cabin I rented. Our anniversary plans were changed at the last minute and this cabin was available so we chose it. We loved the hot tub/privacy and the theatre room. There were maintenance items to be addressed - holes in the house, water damage, mold, missing handle on the bathtub and just very very old furnishings - sofa, chair and bed. In addition all of the wood steps and decking were at the point of needing to be replaced. I felt unsafe walking on the porches. We also were awoken night 1 with gunshot next door and then a raccoon on night 3. It will make a funny story but I’m not sure I would stay here again. Thanks for allowing me to give feedback.

Your company is very easy to work with, that's the main reason I come back each time. The cabin was beautiful but noticed that it wasn't as clean as I thought it should have been. Tub has shampoo spilled in it when we got there. I went to clean up some water on the floor and when I went to clean it up the towel was pretty dirty. We also had trouble with the remotes, I think they all need batteries. Even with these issues I would rent it again. We relaxed and the stress left us for a few days, and that's what it's all about.

The reservation team was fantastic & we appreciated how quickly maintenance came when the toilet started leaking all over the floor. It was fixed very fast, plus they replaced the raggedy old toilet seat & handle that kept getting stuck in the down position. Once it was fixed, it worked great!

We had a great time. We were happy with our cabin. The only negative thing I would have to say is that under furniture needs to be cleaned. There were a lot of dead bugs (bugs that you would expect to get into a cabin, in the woods, in a mountain) under the bed and dresser. We had enough of everything we would need. We enjoyed the hot tub. It was clean and relaxing. The kitchen provided everything we needed. It was also in a great location. We were told that GPS wouldn't find it, which worried us a bit driving back and forth at night. However, the GPS worked great! The directions given to us by Auntie Belham's were also easy to follow.

We loved the layout of the cabin and the quality of the customer service. Everyone we called were very nice and knowledgable about answering any questions we had to ask. I went ahead and entered Misty Morning (1114 Ski View Ln Pigeon Forge, TN 37876) into Google Maps for GPS location - helped alot with going to and from the cabin. Due to our work/travel schedule, we checked into our cabin at around 9PM-10PM - which left us in almost complete darkness. Perhaps the front porch light (with a night/dark sensor for nighttime) can be left on for arrivals?

Overall, we were very happy with the cabin and the customer service. The cabin was exceptionally clean and I was very surprised to not see any bugs. (My parents used to own a cabin in Gatlinburg.) I would recommend that the information on the website match with what it is in the cabin. For example, the website said that there were game tables but there were none. Also when reading the website, it appears that there is cable in 2 rooms, but there is only one room with cable. This was a bit disappointing but did not detract from our overall stay.

Everything in the cabin was wonderful other than everyday we would find spiders in both bathtubs every morning! But that wasn't enough to dissatisfy our stay! We love the unlimited movie pass, the hot tub and all of the free passes! This is the second time we have stayed with y'all and it was great! The gentleman at the front desk was great as well!

The stay was very nice. There would be only be a couple of things that would have been better. The paper towel holder was broken in the kitchen which would be an easy fix with a larger screw and to have better pillows on the bed. We will definitely be staying again. Loved it.

-How is the drive to this cabin?

The drive to this cabin is steep and winding in areas. No 4 wheel drive necessary except during winter weather.


-How close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is this cabin?

This cabin is 3 miles from the parkway of Pigeon Forge and 6 miles from the parkway of Gatlinburg.


-How many vehicles will fit in the driveway?

It is highly recommended that guests don’t bring more than 2 vehicles to park at this cabin.


-Do I need to bring extra toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, etc?

YES… We provide 1 roll of toilet paper per restroom, one trash bag per trash can, 1 roll of paper towels in the kitchen, 1 small bar of soap per sink. You are responsible for bringing your own extras. We also provide 4 towels and 2 wash clothes per F/Q/K bed, 2 towels and 1 wash cloth per twin bed, and 1 kitchen set (1 hand towel, 1 washcloth, starter kit of dish detergent).  We do not provide shampoo, conditioner, lotions, laundry detergent, coffee or coffee filters, salt and pepper, charcoal for grills, daily maid service or flashlights/candles/matches (too often these items were taken home by guests so we stopped providing them).


-Is this cabin dog friendly?

NO… And we charge $250 when evidence of dog/animal is found inside unit.


-Will I encounter wildlife?

Possibly. Black bears are attracted to food and are very curious and destructive, so DO NOT leave food in your vehicles or unaccompanied food on decks and porches and grills. If your cabin does not have a bear proof trash can, please call us for trash pick up.

And remember, you are surrounded by flourishing nature and a national wildlife reserve, so it’s not unusual for bugs to get into your cabin. We do a very good job of spotting and cleaning bugs before your arrival, but we cannot guarantee they won’t return, just as you can’t prevent 100% of bugs from entering your own home. Please be respectful of the fact that we don’t have total control over nature.


-Will the hot tub be clean for my arrival?

Absolutely. In fact the water may still need time to heat up on the day of your arrival. Just keep the cover on the hot tub and turn on the jets, as this will heat the hot tub quicker. To keep your hot tub clean for the length of your stay, keep the cover on the hot tub when not using it and rinse off your skin in the shower before entering the hot tub. Unwashed skin will dirty a hot tub quickly, and we only drain & clean the hot tubs after check-out. If there is sediment in your hot tub upon check-in, it is because your cabin’s water comes from a well.

Vacay Stay Guarantee

The VSG gives your reservation a cancellation policy. Without the VSG you will have a zero cancellation policy and zero reschedule policy. Should you have to cancel your reservation at any point, for any reason, you will lose what you’ve paid up to that point. No exceptions, since the cancellation policy is offered at booking. By not purchasing the VSG, you will accept that you forfeit all monies paid if you have to cancel your reservation.

The Vacay Stay Guarantee allows for:
A 15 day cancellation policy for 1-3 bedroom properties.
A 60 day cancellation policy on 4+ bedroom properties.

For cancellations made outside of the 60 or 15 days, Auntie Belham’s refunds the entire amount of your payments made minus the cost of the VSG (which is only 7% of the total stay + taxes).

For cancellations made inside of 60 or 15 day time frame, when the cancellation policy has expired, you will be allowed to reschedule your stay in that same property within 6 months, but no monies will be refunded. After the 6 months all monies are forfeited.

Without the Vacay Stay Guarantee, absolutely no refunds.

Absolutely no refunds for early departures for any reason including but not limited to: weather, road conditions or family emergencies. We are not responsible for such occurrences and will therefore not refund money because of them.
