Only disappointment was the hot tub on back deck. Only one slow bubble speed and it appeared that a control knob had either been broken off previously or was missing. We have enjoyed this model hot tub in other cabins but this unit is past due for replacement in our opinion. Paul & Kathy Lohr

Loved the cabin, difficult to get too and the drop off beside the house was scary parking the car. Cabin though inside and out was wonderful. The appliances in the kitchen needs a major up grade and a new mattress on the bed. Hot tub was great, 2 shower heads in the tub, loved the central air, cable tv and wifi. As we spent most of our time at the cabin. Pool table was nice too.

Cabin was Beautiful. The Drive up the Mountain off of Gnatty Branch was a little Curvy, but very Beautiful as well. Loved the Balcony looking out across the Mountains. Would have loved to have had 3-4 obstructing trees right behind our Cabin cut down so we could see further, but that would be pretty selfish on our part. The Bed slept great. Loved the Surround Sound Music and Television Sound Surround. The Hot Tub on the back Deck was AWESOME!!! To sit in the Hot Tub while pouring down rain and smelling nature and clean rain just sold me & won me over!!

Experience was good . Snuggled in could use new skillets, and the light fixture attached to fan in the bedroom we couldn't get it to work Only had 1 little skillet and it needed to be thrown away. Otherwise stay was very relaxing

The stay in the cabin was great , just a few things needed attending to. Light out front was out , the light out back next to the livingroom was out. I washed the dishes every day and the facuet lecks at the base of the fascet. There was a leck of water from the refig at the base , so with opening the door , the water was coming from the bottom below the bottom trays. With removing the trays , it was full of water and we cleaned it out. Could not see any place that it came from. Never changed the settings as requested. So not sure about that. The floors could stand a washing , some areas were sticky. But besides all that , everything was great.

Service was very good. Check in procedure and all was good. Items for the cabin owner. Bathroom bathtub drain needs to be cleaned. Tub drains very slowly and debris and hair apparently are stuck in drain and float out during use. Tried to remove what floated out but could not get past the drain. Dishwasher does not clean dishes very well either. Cabin was very clean. Enjoyed gas fireplace and cable TV service.

The whole process was easy and smooth. The staff was very friendly. If anytime u had a question about something they were happy to help. We stayed in the Snuggled Inn cabin. Not the best view but absolutely LOVED the cabin! Will be staying with Auntie Belhams again! The free tickets were a big advantage!

We have stayed in 3 different Auntie Belhams cabins so far. We will use you for future visits. We have recommended you to multiple people. Our son and new daughter in law are coming in November for their honeymoon. The only problems we had with Snuggled Inn was the mattress, VERY old and uncomfortable. The only other suggestion would be a small table on the deck. We had no where to put our drinks while out there.

Little expensive but worth it. We stayed two nights but coupon was valid for just one day. The coupons for activities were given as one per night but we checked in at 9 PM so we were not able to use any that night and so we got coupons for only one day which is kind of not good because the day we reach will be always lost. Please provide coupons in a different format or say it in different words. We liked the unit its private everything was perfect except that we were not sure fans were not working or we could not find the right switch but either way since the AC and mountain temperature was low we dint need the fans. Its kind of an adventure to drive to the unit in the night if you are going to the unit for the first time at night or after sunset.

Registration was easy. Good directions. Pleasant cabin experience. Kitchen needed more than ONE dish towel and more than ONE potholder. Bedspread could be newer and fresher. Had a good time at Snuggled In & maintenance crew responded quickly, but should have called both times before showing up at door. He came early morning without calling first the morning after we got married. Place was very cute & cozy, but we did a lot more cleaning than housekeeping. Did not like billiard table. In the way. We washed shower curtain to get orange mold off & bleached dark black tub stopper. Did not use indoor hot tub due to mold around jets. Outdoor jacuzzi was enjoyable but out of chlorine. Bleached toilet & got out blue & orange mold. Washed bath mats since dark & dirty. Front desk woman & man were excellent both weeks! Please consider the following: change directions sheet to our unit from Elm Ct to Elm CIRCLE & put 10 hangers in closet or tell people to bring hangers. Did not appreciate being told roads were being shoveled & salted the day we left when they were just driven over & sanded & they never came to our street. A car & SUV had slid down our hill & so we had to wait until the sun melted some snow to get out. & no shovel for us to clear the road like we have back home in Chicago. Thank you.

The cabin we rented originally had too many steps and I have a knee that will not let me climb steps. We came back to the office and told the girl and she switched us to a cabin that only had a step to get on porch. I thought this was awesome for the wonderful customer service we were given. I love staying at Auntie Belham's. This is the 3rd time and I imagine we will be staying more.

Every thing that the cabin was great it is hard to get to though the directions are good. But the roads are aweful. You're quest should be warned how treacherous they are. Over all I would gladly come back

-How is the drive to this cabin?

The drive to this cabin is steep and winding in areas. No 4 wheel drive necessary except during winter weather.

 

-How close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is this cabin?

This cabin is less than 5 miles from the parkway of Pigeon Forge and less than 8 miles from the parkway of Gatlinburg.

 

-How many vehicles will fit in the driveway?

Only 1 vehicle is recommended for this driveway, but 2 smaller vehicles will work.

 

-Do I need to bring extra toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, etc?

YES… We provide 1 roll of toilet paper per restroom, one trash bag per trash can, 1 roll of paper towels in the kitchen, 1 small bar of soap per sink. You are responsible for bringing your own extras. We also provide 4 towels and 2 wash clothes per F/Q/K bed, 2 towels and 1 wash cloth per twin bed, and 1 kitchen set (1 hand towel, 1 washcloth, starter kit of dish detergent).  We do not provide shampoo, conditioner, lotions, laundry detergent, coffee or coffee filters, salt and pepper, charcoal for grills, daily maid service or flashlights/candles/matches (too often these items were taken home by guests so we stopped providing them).

 

-Is this cabin dog friendly?

NO… And we charge $250 when evidence of dog/animal is found inside unit.

 

-Is there another cabin nearby, in case more family wants to join? 

Yes, please check out Autumn Leaves, Cloud 9 and Lazy Days

 

-Will I encounter wildlife?

Possibly. Black bears are attracted to food and are very curious and destructive, so DO NOT leave food in your vehicles or unaccompanied food on decks and porches and grills. If your cabin does not have a bear proof trash can, please call us for trash pick up.

And remember, you are surrounded by flourishing nature and a national wildlife reserve, so it’s not unusual for bugs to get into your cabin. We do a very good job of spotting and cleaning bugs before your arrival, but we cannot guarantee they won’t return, just as you can’t prevent 100% of bugs from entering your own home. Please be respectful of the fact that we don’t have total control over nature.

 

-Will the hot tub be clean for my arrival?

Absolutely. In fact the water may still need time to heat up on the day of your arrival. Just keep the cover on the hot tub and turn on the jets, as this will heat the hot tub quicker. To keep your hot tub clean for the length of your stay, keep the cover on the hot tub when not using it and rinse off your skin in the shower before entering the hot tub. Unwashed skin will dirty a hot tub quickly, and we only drain & clean the hot tubs after check-out. If there is sediment in your hot tub upon check-in, it is because your cabin’s water comes from a well.

Vacay Stay Guarantee

The VSG gives your reservation a cancellation policy. Without the VSG you will have a zero cancellation policy and zero reschedule policy. Should you have to cancel your reservation at any point, for any reason, you will lose what you’ve paid up to that point. No exceptions, since the cancellation policy is offered at booking. By not purchasing the VSG, you will accept that you forfeit all monies paid if you have to cancel your reservation.

The Vacay Stay Guarantee allows for:
A 15 day cancellation policy for 1-3 bedroom properties.
A 30 day cancellation policy on 4+ bedroom properties.

For cancellations made outside of the 30 or 15 days, Auntie Belham’s refunds the entire amount of your payments made minus the cost of the VSG (which is only 7% of the nightly rate).

For cancellations made inside of 30 or 15 day time frame, when the cancellation policy has expired, you will be allowed to reschedule your stay in that same property within 6 months, but no monies will be refunded. After the 6 months all monies are forfeited.

Absolutely no refunds for early departures for any reason including but not limited to: weather, road conditions or family emergencies. We are not responsible for such occurrences and will therefore not refund money because of them.
