We invite you to enjoy the cozy mountain atmosphere created by the exposed logs and stone mantle fireplace inside. And outside, we encourage you to unwind in the steaming hot tub on the covered back deck where the peace of the Smokies will relax you. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare a home cooked meal and the front porch offers a grill. If you’re looking for some quality alone time with your partner or small family, the Sweet Seclusion cabin should be your choice for your Smoky Mountain vacation.

It was our second stay at Sweet Seclusion. It was a wonderful stay It felt like home and rekindled some endearing memories. We appreciated the quick response by maintenance to the fireplace pilot light being out. We read in the registry of previous guests referring to the squeakiness of the bed and we, too, wondered if it wasn't time to upgrade the box springs. But overall, again, a wonderful stay.

We appreciated getting a call ahead of arrival that our original cabin had a roof leak and offering two options as a replacement. The one we chose was perfect location and size for us and it had all the cooking equipment we needed. (A plus because most places we need to run to the store for something!) Place was clean and well cared for and the check in/check out was easy. We've stayed with you three times now and have been please each time.

The cabin was great. Not too far from the strip and nicely provisioned. The only issue we had was the neighbor’s dog barking, but hey it’s the country and a few animal noises are to be expected. I thought the rental, check-in, and check-out experience was great with a lot of great communication. I might choose a different cabin next time because of the hot tub, jacuzzi, and heating/cooling system, but then again I might just stick with what I know. It had been several years since I had gotten a cabin in the Gatlinburg area, and I really enjoyed my little getaway.

Our Cabin was clean, directions to the cabin were clear, check in was simple, friendly and informative staff, our cabin was in a wonderful area. Not far from Pigeon Forge, close to Gatlinburg and Sevierville. Loved having a covered front porch, covered and screened in back porch. Gas grill. It was a nice getaway for us. The cabin was very clean...Sweet Seclusion. The only problems we encountered were the zuccuzi did not work very well and the gas grill was rusty and looks pretty worn out...we would recommend a new one. We had no other concerns. This was the third year in a row that we stayed at Sweet Seclusion so we really like it.

My husband & I loved the fact that the hot tub was on a screened in porch. It was our main amenity. The cabin was beautiful and cozy for the two of us. I believe the outside of cabin could have been cleaned better. There were spider webs all on swings on front porch. Other than that, we had a wonderful experience.

The staff is very supportive and handled out hot tub situation as they said the would. I was very impressed with the service. The only things I would suggest is updating the bedroom TV to a flat screen since the TV in the bedroom is so small, and maybe replacing the hot tub lid with one easier to remove and replace.

The cabin where we stayed, Sweet Seclusion, was very clean and cozy. The front porch was not very appealing to us. We did not spend any time on it. It could use some upkeep. We did enjoy the back screened in porch. The kitchen was well furnished. It was nice of you to call and check on us to see if we had any issues. We have never had that done before with any other rental companies. The location was acceptable.

We love staying at a cabin when we come to the smokies. we like the extras that the Aunte Belhams give their guests- we use the "perk card" to eat & see shows ---however the cabin we stayed at this time had a few minor maintence issues, that were disappointing---light bulbs thru out the cabin were burned out which made every room dark,malibu lights on the porch did not work--there were NO dish towels or dish cloths anywhere, we went to town & bought some to use & brought them home with us, the water was brown in the bathroom toilet if you use the shower or washer, we were afraid to use the hot tub after reading other guests comments about brown water, oily residue, etc.in the hot tub--we will rent from aunte bellhams again, but not this cabin.

My husband and I were very impressed with Sweet Seclusion. It was "away" from the busy but yet not far away either. The cabin was very clean and in good shape. I enjoyed the hot tub very much. It was just great for the 2 of us. We only had 2 problems. 1 was the sheets and mattress cover would not stay on the bed. (a small thing but yet annoying). Our other problem was we had to leave early due to the unexpected death of a very close friend. Is there any possibility of getting a credit for a further stay since we had to leave a day early? We were there for a working vacation. We attended the Smokey Mountain Gift Show and IGES show in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We manage a large family campground in Cape Cod. We come every year for the Gift Show. Thank you for any consideration. Oh sorry, I just realized I went over the limit of words.

I would leave more than one roll of toilet paper for more than a couple days stay. Also I would recommend a metal garbage can that can not be moved. We had a critter, not sure if it was a raccoon or bear that came onto the deck and took off the lid. Whatever it was got scared away. Otherwise we enjoyed our time there and would come back.

The cabin was excellent, and we had a wonderful experience. I only have 2 suggestions. 1. The Hot Tub had a nasty brown film when we first took the top off. I had to skim off all of the brown film before any of my family members would get into it. 2. The check out directions were perfect, but we did not know what to do with our garbage so we simply put it in the black can on the porch. We hope this was correct because we were unsure of what to do with it. Maybe next time you could include that in the directions. Otherwise my family and I had a great time, and we will certainly recommend it to others.

Very friendly staff. Overall a very good experience. Our particular cabin was cute, but the tub jets need a good thorough cleaning and the bed sinks in the middle. It could stand to be replaced. The porch lights were also out making it hard to get in at night. Still a good, fun time that we will do again.

Everything went fine. There were several light bulbs out. The refrigerator was very loud, and the jets on the far side of the hot tub didn't work. It didn't effect my stay but I thought you would like to know so they could be taken care of. Only think I was unhappy with was the free activities. I misunderstood and thought I would get 2 tickets for 2 people staying 2 nights. In reality it was only buy one get one free twice. Also when I called to make reservations for zip lining because I felt cheated. They wanted $99 for the first ticket. When I looked up the different zip lining places before we left for our trip the highest price I saw was $85. my decision to book with you was narrowed down by this freebee since it was (I thought) a good deal. We didn't use. Overall my stay was great and very happy with the cabin. But will not use the free tickets as part of my decision next time.

No 4 wheel drive necessary except during winter weather.

 

-How close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is this cabin?

This cabin is 5 miles from the parkway of Pigeon Forge and 13 miles from the parkway of Gatlinburg.

 

-How many vehicles will fit in the driveway?

It is recommended that guest brings only 1 vehicle to this cabin.

 

-Do I need to bring extra toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, etc?

YES… We provide 1 roll of toilet paper per restroom, one trash bag per trash can, 1 roll of paper towels in the kitchen, 1 small bar of soap per sink. You are responsible for bringing your own extras. We also provide 4 towels and 2 wash clothes per F/Q/K bed, 2 towels and 1 wash cloth per twin bed, and 1 kitchen set (1 hand towel, 1 washcloth, starter kit of dish detergent).  We do not provide shampoo, conditioner, lotions, laundry detergent, coffee or coffee filters, salt and pepper, charcoal for grills, daily maid service or flashlights/candles/matches (too often these items were taken home by guests so we stopped providing them).

 

-Is this cabin dog friendly?

NO… And we charge $250 when evidence of dog/animal is found inside unit.

 

-Will I encounter wildlife?

Possibly. Black bears are attracted to food and are very curious and destructive, so DO NOT leave food in your vehicles or unaccompanied food on decks and porches and grills. If your cabin does not have a bear proof trash can, please call us for trash pick up.

And remember, you are surrounded by flourishing nature and a national wildlife reserve, so it’s not unusual for bugs to get into your cabin. We do a very good job of spotting and cleaning bugs before your arrival, but we cannot guarantee they won’t return, just as you can’t prevent 100% of bugs from entering your own home. Please be respectful of the fact that we don’t have total control over nature.

 

-Will the hot tub be clean for my arrival?

Absolutely. In fact the water may still need time to heat up on the day of your arrival. Just keep the cover on the hot tub and turn on the jets, as this will heat the hot tub quicker. To keep your hot tub clean for the length of your stay, keep the cover on the hot tub when not using it and rinse off your skin in the shower before entering the hot tub. Unwashed skin will dirty a hot tub quickly, and we only drain & clean the hot tubs after check-out. If there is sediment in your hot tub upon check-in, it is because your cabin’s water comes from a well.

Vacay Stay Guarantee

The VSG gives your reservation a cancellation policy. Without the VSG you will have a zero cancellation policy and zero reschedule policy. Should you have to cancel your reservation at any point, for any reason, you will lose what you’ve paid up to that point. No exceptions, since the cancellation policy is offered at booking. By not purchasing the VSG, you will accept that you forfeit all monies paid if you have to cancel your reservation.

The Vacay Stay Guarantee allows for:
A 15 day cancellation policy for 1-3 bedroom properties.
A 60 day cancellation policy on 4+ bedroom properties.

For cancellations made outside of the 60 or 15 days, Auntie Belham’s refunds the entire amount of your payments made minus the cost of the VSG (which is only 7% of the total stay + taxes).

For cancellations made inside of 60 or 15 day time frame, when the cancellation policy has expired, you will be allowed to reschedule your stay in that same property within 6 months, but no monies will be refunded. After the 6 months all monies are forfeited.

Without the Vacay Stay Guarantee, absolutely no refunds.

Absolutely no refunds for early departures for any reason including but not limited to: weather, road conditions or family emergencies. We are not responsible for such occurrences and will therefore not refund money because of them.
