Great for several couples or a family gathering!! This Smoky Mountain chalet is a spacious 5 bedroom/4 bathroom home located in the mountains of Gatlinburg with plenty of parking room for many vehicles. Entry on the main level opens to a great room that hosts the kitchen, dining and living areas with access to a deck. Living Room has plenty of sitting space for all to enjoy watching the tv mounted by the wood burning fireplace. There are 2 king bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with tub/shower combo located on the main level. Check the cabin floor plan (in photos) for the exact layout of both levels. Each bedroom, living room and game room has a television with DVD player. Cable only supplied to living room television. The upper level offers more bedrooms along with a pool table and tv in the common area, and a hot tub on the deck. This property is not pet friendly and is a smoke free property.

Everything was great! Only a few problems. The refrigerator would drop a couple pieces of ice on the floor randomly, that was scary the first night sleeping when I had no clue what was going on. Lol Second thing is, we stuck all the teenagers upstairs and there was no note saying how to use the shower in one of the showers, and the other teenagers that used the second bathroom upstairs didn’t even think to tell them there was a trick too it, so 2 of the kids ended up taking baths or showering downstairs. Third is there is a light that’s outside on the second level that would have helped since we were BBQing and it got dark during the middle of cooking but it doesn’t work. Fourth thing is the BBQ pit is very small so therefore it took a long time to BBQ. The light being broke wouldn’t have even been an issue if the grill would have been a little bigger. Since the cabin does hold a lot of people, a bigger grill would be nice. But even with all those minor issues, we would absolutely stay again!! We loved it!

We had a wonderful time! The cabin was decorated beautifully for Christmas and stocked very well. The only thing that was a little trying, was the location. We had a little trouble locating the cabin the road up to it was challenging.

I would have like to had the address of the chalet prior to the day of check-in, but not a real big deal. I liked the friendly faces we encountered at check-in. Ease of check-in and check-out were considered excellent. Probably nothing you could do, but we had a good many bears visit the chalet during the week. The chalet was rated very good in cleanliness, floor plan design and furnishings. The options for free tickets to attractions were mainly for high dollar shows that a large family cannot afford. It would have been nice to have cable on all the TV's and we had internet connections problems for the first few days (may of been a Charter service problem). Overall we rated a very good experience.

House was cozy and homelike. Comfy beds and lots of hot water. Appliance’s were horrible which is the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars. Nothing would freeze in the freezer (not even popsicles) and fridge didn’t keep beers cold. Stove eyes didn’t work properly, and oven even when preheated took 45 minutes to cook biscuits that should’ve taken 15 minutes. Washer worked well, but dryer didn’t dry clothes even after 2 hours and 30 minutes of drying.

the cabin was perfect, clean, plenty of room, and set up nicely. the only notes we would make is my mother said the downstairs bedroom, back one with private bath didn’t have a shower head and the room upstairs with two beds in it, was missing a remote and the one that was there the batteries are corroded, so i couldn’t watch tv in that room. Hot tub, fireplace, other amenities, and scenery/area were all awesome Thank you for helping us have an amazing weekend!!!!

The house was as advertised, if not better. Many paper items were provided upon arrival and the kitchen was well stocked with housewares. The pool/clubhouse was very nice and easily accessible. The house was in a good location, easy access to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and the Great Smokey Mountain National Park. However, we were not informed of clubhouse closures and one of the bedrooms had garbage in it when we arrived. Also, the garbage area outside got very full during the week. Overall a lovely stay in a beautiful location!

The cabin was great. The daily early morning visits of the bears was exciting. the kitchen was well stocked with most necessities except for baking dishes. The only real problem was that the upstairs air conditioner wouldn't come on the first night, but after a maintenance call, it was fixed very quickly.

cabin was very nice, check in was smooth, only recommendation would be a few more pans/dishes. A 9x13 pan and cookie sheet would have been nice as we were making a breakfast casserole and bacon (in the oven) - had to go buy throw away pans. Also - a few more forks would have been nice, had JUST enough for everyone if someone used the baby fork that was in the drawer.

We were not happy with the fact we had to travel an hour out of the way to get key box code, sign paperwork, and complete the check in. I think it would be great if these things could be done on line. We came into Gatlinburg on 441 which put us within just a few miles of the cabin, but we still had at least an hour of drive time (with traffic) before we could get settled in because of the trip to the office. With that out of the way, the office staff was great to us, and we were pleased with the cabin. The only complaint with the cabin was the pool table, it is shot, dead rails, missing and damaged balls, and the Que sticks were shot as well. But, if a bad pool table were the worst thing I ever had to deal with we'd all be doing great. All in all out group, 10 people, really enjoyed out stay with you, and have vowed it wont be out last.

The cabin/ chalet looked better in person than the pictures, although a little outdated in decor. 2nd floor had a faint musty odor I suspect from the jacuzzi. I was under the impression that cabin was available in the every room which had very nice TV. The only room that had cable TV was the living room that was very frustrating since I had taken my grandchildren who enjoy watching TV early morning and late night prior to bed. It would be nice to have a water filter available on the kitchen sink for filtered water and the ice maker ...long drive to town for water and would help in saving the environment from those plastic water bottles. We enjoyed our trip very much! Once we located our cabin and unloaded the car, we went inside and were pleasantly surprised! Silver Maple looked a bit dated on the outside, but it was nicely decorated in the inside also for the age of the cabin. Your front desk staff were incredibly helpful!

-How is the drive to this cabin?

The drive to this cabin is steep and winding in areas. No 4 wheel drive necessary except during winter weather.


-How close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is this cabin?

This cabin is 9 miles from the parkway of Pigeon Forge and less than 3 miles from the parkway of Gatlinburg.


-How many vehicles will fit in the driveway?

3-4 vehicles of any size will fit comfortably in this driveway.


-Do I need to bring extra toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, etc?

YES… We provide 1 roll of toilet paper per restroom, one trash bag per trash can, 1 roll of paper towels in the kitchen, 1 small bar of soap per sink. You are responsible for bringing your own extras. We also provide 4 towels and 2 wash clothes per F/Q/K bed, 2 towels and 1 wash cloth per twin bed, and 1 kitchen set (1 hand towel, 1 washcloth, starter kit of dish detergent).  We do not provide shampoo, conditioner, lotions, laundry detergent, coffee or coffee filters, salt and pepper, charcoal for grills, daily maid service or flashlights/candles/matches (too often these items were taken home by guests so we stopped providing them).


-Is this cabin dog friendly?

NO… And we charge $250 when evidence of dog/animal is found inside unit.


-Will I encounter wildlife?

Possibly. Black bears are attracted to food and are very curious and destructive, so DO NOT leave food in your vehicles or unaccompanied food on decks and porches and grills. If your cabin does not have a bear proof trash can, please call us for trash pick up.

And remember, you are surrounded by flourishing nature and a national wildlife reserve, so it’s not unusual for bugs to get into your cabin. We do a very good job of spotting and cleaning bugs before your arrival, but we cannot guarantee they won’t return, just as you can’t prevent 100% of bugs from entering your own home. Please be respectful of the fact that we don’t have total control over nature.


-Will the hot tub be clean for my arrival?

Absolutely. In fact the water may still need time to heat up on the day of your arrival. Just keep the cover on the hot tub and turn on the jets, as this will heat the hot tub quicker. To keep your hot tub clean for the length of your stay, keep the cover on the hot tub when not using it and rinse off your skin in the shower before entering the hot tub. Unwashed skin will dirty a hot tub quickly, and we only drain & clean the hot tubs after check-out. If there is sediment in your hot tub upon check-in, it is because your cabin’s water comes from a well.

Vacay Stay Guarantee

The VSG gives your reservation a cancellation policy. Without the VSG you will have a zero cancellation policy and zero reschedule policy. Should you have to cancel your reservation at any point, for any reason, you will lose what you’ve paid up to that point. No exceptions, since the cancellation policy is offered at booking. By not purchasing the VSG, you will accept that you forfeit all monies paid if you have to cancel your reservation.

The Vacay Stay Guarantee allows for:
A 15 day cancellation policy for 1-3 bedroom properties.
A 60 day cancellation policy on 4+ bedroom properties.

For cancellations made outside of the 60 or 15 days, Auntie Belham’s refunds the entire amount of your payments made minus the cost of the VSG (which is only 7% of the total stay + taxes).

For cancellations made inside of 60 or 15 day time frame, when the cancellation policy has expired, you will be allowed to reschedule your stay in that same property within 6 months, but no monies will be refunded. After the 6 months all monies are forfeited.

Without the Vacay Stay Guarantee, absolutely no refunds.

Absolutely no refunds for early departures for any reason including but not limited to: weather, road conditions or family emergencies. We are not responsible for such occurrences and will therefore not refund money because of them.
