What people are saying about this property
Excellent vacation, cabin was beautiful and perfect location. Great communication with staff
Everything was amazing! Service was all through text and email, very professional and friendly!
The cabin was great. We loved the hot tub was very clean. We wished the fireplace in the living room was working. Called but said it was shut down because of the season. Well it was still cold a couple of days during our stay. There should be instructions for the t-stat and the remotes for the tv in living room and upstairs bedroom.
The cabin was amazing. Hot tub, fire pit, grill, location outstanding. Couldn't get the gas fireplace to work but we didn't need it. Cabin was clean when we arrived. Can't complain about anything. I WILL be back!
The cabin was wonderful! There was a slight smell of propane that smelt like eggs but it was just something we got use to.
The cabin was very nice and clean and everything we used worked. Loved that it was decorated for Christmas and an easy check in process. My only complaint was that shampoo, soap for the shower, and laundry detergent was not provided. Also, no hair dryer. The email indicated there would not be extra trash bags or toilet paper either, but fortunately there was. It just is an added stress to have to remember those items or go out to purchase them and it’s a minimal cost to provide those. I would have gladly paid $5 extra to have those items provided. Every other place we’ve stayed has provided those items.
Very attentive Easy check in and check out Auntie Belhams Made the whole process very easy for us!
The cabin was beautiful. The ladies who took care of the reservations did an excellent job. We will stay with y’all again. Thank you!
It was a lovely place to stay. We had so much fun looking out at the beautiful scenery. Our only complaint was the master bedroom bed-mattress was horrendous the noise it made just getting into the bed and it sank into the middle
Every time we’ve stayed in one of your cabins it’s been absolutely wonderful! The descriptions are spot on and you always know what to expect. I love the newer check in procedure where the code is emailed. It makes for a much smoother process after a long drive. Thank you again for the great memories. :-)
We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very nice .
Very nice staff, easy check in and check out process.
Thank you for the wonderful stay!!!!
Only thing I would recommend is providing at least an approximate location prior to check in that way families can plan their time better. Everything was great though!
-How is the drive to this cabin?
The drive to this cabin is steep and winding in areas. No 4 wheel drive necessary except during winter weather.
-How close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is this cabin?
This cabin is 3.5 miles from the parkway of Pigeon Forge and 5.5 miles from the parkway of Gatlinburg.
-How many vehicles will fit in the driveway?
2-3 vehicles of any size will fit comfortably in this driveway.
-Is this cabin dog friendly?
NO… And we charge $250 when evidence of dog/animal is found inside unit.
-Is there another cabin nearby, in case more family wants to join?
Nothing within walking distance, but we have A LOT of cabins in the same area if you want to text/call our Reservations Team for details: 865-436-6618
-Do I need to bring extra toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, etc?
YES… We provide 1 roll of toilet paper per restroom, one trash bag per trash can, 1 roll of paper towels in the kitchen, 1 small bar of soap per sink. You are responsible for bringing your own extras. We also provide 4 towels and 2 wash clothes per F/Q/K bed, 2 towels and 1 wash cloth per twin bed, and 1 kitchen set (1 hand towel, 1 washcloth, starter kit of dish detergent). We do not provide shampoo, conditioner, lotions, laundry detergent, coffee or coffee filters, salt and pepper, charcoal for grills, daily maid service or flashlights/candles/matches (too often these items were taken home by guests so we stopped providing them).
-Will I encounter wildlife?
Possibly. Black bears are attracted to food and are very curious and destructive, so DO NOT leave food in your vehicles or unaccompanied food on decks and porches and grills. If your cabin does not have a bear proof trash can, please call us for trash pick up.
And remember, you are surrounded by flourishing nature and a national wildlife reserve, so it’s not unusual for bugs to get into your cabin. We do a very good job of spotting and cleaning bugs before your arrival, but we cannot guarantee they won’t return, just as you can’t prevent 100% of bugs from entering your own home. Please be respectful of the fact that we don’t have total control over nature.
-Will the hot tub be clean for my arrival?
Absolutely. In fact the water may still need time to heat up on the day of your arrival. Just keep the cover on the hot tub and turn on the jets, as this will heat the hot tub quicker. To keep your hot tub clean for the length of your stay, keep the cover on the hot tub when not using it and rinse off your skin in the shower before entering the hot tub. Unwashed skin will dirty a hot tub quickly, and we only drain & clean the hot tubs after check-out. If there is sediment in your hot tub upon check-in, it is because your cabin’s water comes from a well.
Vacay Stay Guarantee
The VSG gives your reservation a cancellation policy. Without the VSG you will have a zero cancellation policy and zero reschedule policy. Should you have to cancel your reservation at any point, for any reason, you will lose what you’ve paid up to that point. No exceptions, since the cancellation policy is offered at booking. By not purchasing the VSG, you will accept that you forfeit all monies paid if you have to cancel your reservation.
The Vacay Stay Guarantee allows for:
A 15 day cancellation policy for 1-3 bedroom properties.
A 60 day cancellation policy on 4+ bedroom properties.
For cancellations made outside of the 60 or 15 days, Auntie Belham’s refunds the entire amount of your payments made minus the cost of the VSG (which is only 7% of the total stay + taxes).
For cancellations made inside of 60 or 15 day time frame, when the cancellation policy has expired, you will be allowed to reschedule your stay in that same property within 6 months, but no monies will be refunded. After the 6 months all monies are forfeited.
Without the Vacay Stay Guarantee, absolutely no refunds.
Absolutely no refunds for early departures for any reason including but not limited to: weather, road conditions or family emergencies. We are not responsible for such occurrences and will therefore not refund money because of them.
Very professional and personable customer service. I would have liked to have known our cabin location during the booking process instead of the day of check-in. I don't really understand the reasoning behind that.
