After a full day of fun in Pigeon Forge, a family movie night is the perfect way to unwind in your cabin! Many of our properties come with state of the art theater rooms, so you can have a genuine movie theater experience in your pajamas. With cinema style seating and enormous flat screens, our home theaters have everything you need to kick back, relax, and enjoy the show. Here is how to plan an incredible movie night at our Pigeon Forge cabins with theater rooms in four steps:
The first step for planning your movie night is determining what you want to watch. If you’re vacationing with kids, it might be tricky to find something that appeals to everyone. We suggest choosing a classic movie like Star Wars or one of the newest animated releases from Disney or Pixar. Letting your whole family vote on which film they prefer is a good way to ensure that everyone is on board with your choice. Remember, you can always watch another movie once the kids have gone to bed!
Before you leave home, be sure to grab your DVD collection in case your family wants to watch an old favorite while you’re on vacation. If you have your heart set on a new release, we suggest stopping by a local Redbox. In case you’re not familiar, a Redbox is a vending machine that lets you rent DVDs by the day. According to the Redbox website, you can find their machines in a number of locations in Pigeon Forge, including:

One of the advantages of watching a movie at our Pigeon Forge cabins with theater rooms, is that unlike at the cinema, you can get really comfortable. Change into your pajamas, put on a bathrobe, and bring down a blanket to make everyone nice and cozy. Many of our theater rooms come with plush chairs or couches that are much more relaxing than the seating you would find in an actual movie theater. Whether you want to spread out or cuddle together, you’ll feel like you’re in the lap of luxury. Just don’t get too comfortable, or you might fall asleep and miss the movie!
What would a movie night be without snacks? All of our cabins come with fully equipped kitchens, so you can whip up something tasty for the whole family. You can’t go wrong with popcorn, candy, cookies, or brownies. For an extra special treat, try to tie your snacks into the theme of the movie. For instance, if you’re having a Harry Potter movie marathon, search the web for recipes to make Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans, Cauldron Cakes, or Chocolate Frogs.
