Everything You Need to Know About the Blooms and Tunes Event at Anakeesta

Anakeesta celebrates the magic of the spring season with Blooms and Tunes , a fun new event with whimsical art sculptures, live music, and special spring themed dining menus! This is your chance to be one of the first guests to experience this inaugural event and enjoy the lively atmosphere of this popular mountaintop theme park! Here is everything that you need to know about the Blooms and Tunes event at Anakeesta:

1. What to Expect

The Blooms and Tunes event at Anakeesta is a brand new event to heighten the anticipation of the spring season and features larger-than-life, spring-themed art installations! The fun begins at the Parkway entrance to Anakeesta where you can take a unique photo with a 20 foot long blooming daisy. Once you get to the top of the mountain, stroll around to see the other colorful flower sculptures and an oversized paint pallet complete with 10 foot tall paint brushes! Blooms and Tunes also features live music Thursday through Sunday with an exciting lineup of talented local artists, so come on up to Anakeesta to get into the spring mood.

2. Where to Eat

Anakeesta is home to several tempting dining venues, all which will offer a spring themed menu throughout this special event. This is your chance to enjoy some seasonal cocktails infused with the flavors of spring, as well as chef-inspired dinner specials such as Blue Ridge Ribeye, the Creole Burger, and Smoky Mountain Short Ribs. Kick back for an elevated dining experience at the Cliff Top Restaurant, where your delicious meal comes complete with sweeping views of Mt. LeConte and the Smokies! Other dining options at Anakeesta include the Smokehouse, Kephart Cafe, Pearl’s Pie in the Sky, and the Snack Shack.

3. Times, Dates, and Location

Blooms and Tunes runs through the fourth weekend in May, giving you plenty of time to experience this exciting event! The park hours vary throughout the spring, so be sure to check the official Anakeesta operating calendar when planning your visit. This convenient calendar also displays the musicians you can expect to hear each day during the event! Anakeesta is located in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg at traffic light #5, where you will depart on the Chondola, or Ridge Rambler to ride to the summit.

4. Ticket Information

The awesome thing about the Blooms and Tunes event is that it is included with your paid admission to the park. There are a variety of admission plans to Anakeesta, such as General admission, annual passes, and group admission. General admission includes unlimited rides to the summit, the BearVenture, and TreeVenture Challenge Courses, Treetop Skywalk, Vista Gardens, and more. Keep in mind that the Rail Runner mountain coaster and Dueling Zipline are not included in general admission and require an extra fee.
