Auntie Belham’s Cabin Rentals Celebrates 20 Years of Memories

In 1994, what is known fondly today as Auntie Belham’s Cabin Rentals started off as a small family business ran out of a quaint general store in Gatlinburg. Today, family is still a big part of our business, and we have our own office in the heart of Pigeon Forge where we have proudly been helping vacationers to the Smoky Mountains create long-lasting family memories for 20 years.

Where Did The Name Come From?

As we previously mentioned, Auntie Belham’s Cabin Rentals was started out of a small shop in Gatlinburg. The name of the store was Auntie Belham’s General Store. When we decided to first start a Smoky Mountain cabin rental company, we wanted to keep a connection to our beginnings in the shop.

If you want to go further back than that, the name Auntie Belham’s is a play on the word Antebellum which was an era in United States history right before the Civil War started.

Favorite Memory

Over the past 20 years, we have made so many fond memories that it is hard to pick out just one as our absolute favorite. We are very fortunate to be able to work with an amazing staff, incredible cabin owners and friendly guests that every day seems like a new adventure.

What’s Next?

As with any business, we look forward to growing and expanding in the future. However, with that being said, we also are looking forward to maintaining the close relationship we already have with many of our repeat guests and our property owners.

If it was not for the strong relationships we have built over the past two decades we would not be as successful as we are today, and we know that without that we could not continue our success far into the future. We pride ourselves on having the ability to make each of our guests and cabin owners feel as if they are more than just another name on a piece of paper. We know that each Smoky Mountain vacation and each property is unique.
